Chapter 16 - Feelings

Today was the day of the presentation. Aria was very excited, after all did not see the ballet closely for years.

She tried to replicate some old movements, but unfortunately her leg couldn’t stretch enough anymore.

Thus, the woman left the room with a sigh of frustration. Aria had to admit and accept that that time would never return.

"Aria." A childish voice called her in a small scream. " Are you sad today? You Want ice cream? Lenzo always gives me ice cream when I’m sad. Just don’t tell Giulia, she doesn’t like us having ice cream before lunch."

Aria laughed and stroked the head of the girl who gave a cute smile in return.

"It’s nothing dear. I’m fine."

Laura watched her with a suspicious expression, but said nothing more. Adults were difficult to show their feelings

"Let’s go shopping? Let’s buy a beautiful dress for today" Aria changed the subject.

"And toys too." Laura screamed with happy little jumps, forgetting the previous event. Children Tb forgot fast.
