8. Ethan: Family ties

Ethan's Point of view:

As I got ready for dinner at my grandpa's house, my mind kept wandering back to Sarah, the pretty redhead I had hit with my car just a few days ago. I couldn't help but wonder how she was feeling now, if she was recovering well from her injuries. I made a mental note to get her a get-well-soon card, an "I'm sorry" card, and some flowers. I wasn't really sure why I was so invested in her well-being, but I couldn't shake off the feeling.

"Mr. Ethan, your car is ready," Ben, my driver, called out to me.

I nodded, grabbing my phones and heading out the door. As we drove to my grandpa's house, my mind kept drifting back to Sarah. I found myself smiling, feeling a sense of happiness that I couldn't quite explain.
