Sarah’s Point of view:

We trudged tiredly back to our villa, Vivienne, Emerald and Kimberly walking in front of us. I glanced back at Ember and Casper, who were deep in conversation. Ember had a radiant smile on her face, and I felt happy for her.

As I thought back to our day, I couldn't help but smile. Back at the secluded beach that Casper took us to, Ember and Casper had flirted openly. It was nice to watch them together.

After visiting the secret coves, Casper took us to Matira Beach. He explained that the other private beaches were reserved for hotel clients, but Matira Beach was open to the public. And what a beautiful beach it was.

The white sand shores stretched out before us, and the crystal-clear waters sparkled in the sunlight. Casper told us that Matira Beach was a popular spot for watching the sunset, relaxing, and taking romantic strolls. As we walked along the beach, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me.

I dialed Emily's number, my hands shaking with fear, my heart racing with anxiety. "Emily, he's going to kill me," I whispered, trying to hold back tears that streamed down my face like rain.I was hiding in the basement, the only place I felt safe, surrounded by the musty smell of old boxes and the faint scent of mold. Alex had been raging upstairs, his anger and frustration boiling over like a pot left unattended on the stove. I knew I had to get out, but I was trapped, like a bird in a gilded cage with no key."Sarah, what's happening?" Emily's voice was calm, but I could hear the concern beneath."He's going to kill me," I repeated, my voice barely above a whisper, my throat constricted with fear. "He's been getting worse and worse. I don't know what to do."I heard Emily's sigh, her gentle words of comfort, but they felt like a distant echo, a reminder of a life I once knew, a life I could never go back to.I thought back to the day I met Alex, the charming smile, the piercing ey

Ethan's Point of view:I was driving home from a short but tiring day at work, my mind still reeling from the meeting with our company's potential investors. We were trying to secure funding for our new project, and I was determined to make it happen because the weight of it rested heavily on my shoulders. I watched in awe as he expertly kept everything in the air, drawing a small crowd of onlookers. I smiled, feeling a sense of joy that I hadn't felt all day.I turne

Sarah’s Point of view As I slowly opened my eyes, I was met with the sterile smell of a hospital room. I tried to remember how I got there, but my memories were fuzzy. I recalled running down the street, then...nothing. Panic set in as I scrambled to piece together what happened. A gentle voice spoke beside me, "Hey, you're awake. I'm so glad to see you're okay." I turned to see a blond guy with hazel eyes and a concerned expression. He introduced himself as Ethan, and I had no idea who he was or why he was sitting beside my bed. The doctor came in to check on me, and Ethan stepped back, his eyes never leaving mine. I felt a strange sense of calm with him nearby, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was missing. As the doctor left, Ethan returned to my bedside, his expression hesitant. "Can I stay?" he asked. "I want to make sure you're okay." I nodded, still trying to process everything. Ethan's presence was comforting, but I couldn't understand why he

Sarah was spending the day with my family, and I was sure she was having a blast. I glanced at my watch, noting the time - 12:30. My mind, however, was preoccupied with a more pressing matter. I had scheduled a virtual meeting with a private investigator, a man renowned for his exceptional skills in uncovering financial discrepancies. My gut told me that something was off, and I needed concrete evidence to confirm my suspicions. The possibility of embezzlement within our company had been nagging at me for weeks, and I was determined to get to the bottom of it. With a sense of trepidation, I set up my laptop in my home office, preparing for the virtual call. My eyes scanned the desk, ensuring that all the necessary documents were in order.
