Isabella’s pov

When Rodrigo’s uncle approached, it was a good time for me to escape from him and move around the house to greet some of his other relatives who had equally arrived. However, he held my hand and did not want to let me go. It was obvious that his uncle wanted to talk to him alone but yet he held me so firmly that I couldn't escape.

“Honey, why don’t you talk with your uncle while I go greet Patricia, I'm sure grandmother wants to see me and I have not greeted her ever since she arrived, I don't want to be rude”

“ Isabella is right why don't you let her go, I have a business that I would like to discuss with you”

“Uncle, whatever you have to discuss with me will have to wait, right now I think Isabella and I should go and talk with Grandmother”

Does it have to be that way? Before his uncle could get to see another word he held my hand and was already walking towards the stairs leaving him all alone looking like a fool.

“ That was very rude of you”

“ What was rude of me?”
