Turning A New Leaf

Jarden had had a quiet evening with his grandfather and was ready to go when his phone rang. It was Ander calling. He excused his grandfather and went out of the study to pick up the call.

"Hey man, what's up?" He said the moment he picked up the call.

"I am good, I was thinking, you invited me for breakfast this morning. If you don't mind, can you turn it into dinner?"

Jadern grinned, "sure, man. I will be right away to pick you up." He said excitedly and hung up the call. He walked back to his grandfather's study.

"Your grandson just called, grandfather. He wants to hang out with me. So see you tomorrow and tell Dad and Mom that vacation is over. It's time for them to come home because I miss them terribly"

Mr. Devon shook his head, "call them yourself and tell them and have fun with your cousin."

"Alright then, we will. See you tomorrow, bye," Jarden said and left his grandfather.
