Things Never Going Back To What They Were

Josh turned and left Luke's room. On his way out, he met his grandfather who smiled at the sight of Josh.

"Josh, really, you are good?"

"I am grandfather, thanks for bringing us back."

Josh thanked his grandfather.

"That's fine son, do you mind if I have a little word with you?"

"Sure grandfather, I don't mind," he replied and both of them walked into his grandfather's study.

"Luke and Stacy were behind it," the old man said the moment he took a seat.

"Did what? Grandfather."

"Drugged Alex."

Josh was shocked to hear his grandfather say that.

Why would Luke team up with Stacy to drug Alex and no wonder, Alex was being skeptical about forgiving him.

There was no need to make peace with Luke again. He guessed it was better if things never go back as they were before.

"Grandfather, it's a pity that he did but he is my brother. I will just have to keep Alex safe, that's all."

"I thought I should let you know, I will be glad to have breakfast with you and Alex,"
