Tending To Jerry

Alex alighted from the cab and went into the building. She had not been there since Jerry left the country, for 9 years now. The building felt old and she had to think maybe his parents moved out.

Though the family was a family friend to hers, at some point, Jerry's mom stopped visiting them and she had no reason to visit since her best friend was out of the country.

"How time flies?" She said with a small smile on her face.

She was standing in front of this large building that was more than 3 decades old. The painting was almost fading. It had seen more snow in its life yet despite how old it was, it did not lose its magnificent beauty and the fact that money was spent on it was clearly written by the interior and exterior work on it.
