Chapter 885

The second room Abigail lived in was smaller. The bed was only five feet wide. It could fit two people if they squeezed in. She intended for Susanna to stay in this room with her.

If Susanna found the bed too small for two people, Abigail thought she could utilize the bay window by putting a quilt on it to make a makeshift bed.

During her school days, Abigail loved sitting on the bay window to do her homework. After finishing her homework, she would put the small table away and lay down on the bay window to sleep.

As for Xander, Abigail thought of either having him stay at a hotel or make a makeshift bed in the study for him to spend the night. She thought, 'I still have to ask for Xander's opinion about this.'

Xander came to her just as she was thinking about him.

Xander, who rarely did work that required physical strength, wasted no time too. He helped Abigail make the bed, adjusted the mattress, and did all the work that required physical strength which Abigail could not do.
