Cassandra was a teacher for most of her life. And she would normally read books when she was free. So, Elisha put a small desk near the balcony with a rocking chair next to the desk.

When Cassandra was free, she could then lie down in the rocking chair to bask in the sun while reading the books she liked.

The next room was the study room. Abigail liked to draw and read books. The study room was furnished quite satisfactorily. But its color scheme was especially comforting.

The walls on both sides had floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that could hold many books. The windows were in front. There were some plants by the windows too. So, when she was tired from reading, she could see some green plants just by lifting her eyes. It was very consistent with Abigail's idea.

Finally, it was the master bedroom and the walk-in closet. They did not have any special designs. But Elisha designed them to be very simple, decent, and comforting, completely just like what Abigail wanted.
