It was just days before winter arrived. The cold wind howled and the air was frigid, but his body was so warm, like a portable oven of sorts. Abigail, with her frostbitten nose, stuck closer into his embrace. Her face was right at the place where Xander's heart was and she could hear his heartbeat accelerating.
