"After a kiss" he sat close to her, he lowered his lips to hers. "Don't you even dare!" she raised her gaze at him. Liam paused his eyes locked with hers while she didn't even flinch. Liam took his head back, looking at her, she didn't look like she wanted to kiss him. He could read frustration on her face, she looked like she wanted to beat him up. "I-I," he cleared his throat "something happened" he stuttered, he had no idea how he was going to explain everything that happened. "You don't think I know that? do you know how worried I was?" she says, taking her head down. "I'm- I" he bit his lower lips, looking around, was he supposed to comfort her? he furrowed his brows. He couldn't get himself to apologize to her, she knew he wasn't going to apologize, Aurora rolled her eyes she took her hair backward exhaling loudly. "What happened?" she says, raising her gaze at him, maybe he could explain if he wasn't going to apologize for her tears and everything that happened.

Just as the night crept, Aurora stood by the pond watching the ducks, one was with a child and she loved the sight of it. The bells of the palace, rang loud informing everyone, it sounded like the bell of someone been missing, she looked around and everywhere seemed quiet. "Your highness?" She heard an unfamiliar voice call, Aurora turned over to the voice, it was a child, he looked like a child to her. "Can I help you?" She smiles, coming closer. "They are coming for me!" His voice shook. "Who?" She looked around, no one was around them, the bells kept ringing. __________________________ "Where's the Queen!" Liam's voice echoed around the hallway, he held a sword in his hands. "We've searched Sire, we can't find anywhere, in her chambers, yours or the palace kitchen" "Have you checked the garden, when you find her take her to my chamber!" "You keep doing this thing where I fucking have to fall to your knees and respect everything you do, Aurora... what are you doing to me? he says, furrowing his brows at her."To you? what does that even mean?" The morning came and Liam wasn't in bed, Aurora opened her eyes to the bright room and beautiful sunrise. She laid on the bed with her back staring at the ceiling, Aurora yawned trying to get up, she picked Liam's white robe and headed to the mirror. "Where did he go this morning?" She says, packing her hair up. The chamber door opened, Sania and Lia walk in. "Hey guys," She says surprised by the fact they had a line of dresses and shoes with them as they came in. "His Majesty seeks your presence," Lia says, bowing. "Oh, why?" she got up, staring at the variety of dishes coming in. "He didn't say, he is at court" Sania replies, blocking her from touching any. "What are you doing?" Aurora rolled her eyes at her. "You only eat, after you shower" "Please, don't be like my mother" She laughs, trying to find her way. "My Queen?" The palace bell rang loud helping Aurora get up from the bed, Liam lay on the bed with her, he had a paper file in his hands. "That was refreshing" she yawned, stretching. "Yeah, I know right for someone who felt suffocated," He says, getting off the bed. Aurora's gaze fell, remembering her words, "Liam, I need space, I feel so suffocated" "Not after that little kiss, it's so relaxing having you staring at me, while my hands are gripping your arms." "Lisa?" he called, She dropped the knife immediately and looked at him. "Oh, Liam you're back?" She darts at Aurora and back at him. "What are you doing with that?" He asked, coming closer. Climbing over her, meeting her lips. He pulled away for a second to look into her eyes, "Ready?" He placed her legs over his shoulders, Aurora breath increased and she nodded. Liam pushed into her, holding her head in his arms, Aurora wrapped her legs around his waist. "Liam!" she moaned, kissing his ears, their breathing ragged as they both enjoyed each other. Her moans softly faded away, as hours passed. Few hours later, Aurora was fast asleep when she heard a strange noise, she opened her eyes to the dark room, she touched around and Liam was nowhere to be found. "Liam?" She called, assuming he had gone to shower, Aurora took off the sheets, coming down from the bed when she heard the same noise again, like someone had fallen. "Sania? is that you?" "Ahh, that... my brother brings them twice a week" "You have a brother? does he work in the palace?" She asked, munching on her grape. "No, he's a farmer" Kara says, looking at Sania. The palace, bell rang over and over around the palace, it was a custom that whenever a royal had passed on, the bells would keep ringing from the moment the news had reached the King till the next day, and Aurora in her chambers late at night, stared through the window. People from all over the citadel, stood with candles in their hands mourning the late Queen mother. Liam was stuck in her chambers till the next morning. "Your Highness, the King had ordered you to sleep" Sania weak voice says. "How can I sleep knowing my husband isn't fine?" she sniffled, turning around, Sania, Kara and Lia were on their knee in a white garment. "For the..." Sania says. "Why are you all kneeling?" She asked, confused and staring at them. "It's the custom?" "To kneel for no good reason?" she chuckled at their stupidity. "Don't!" Sania stopped Lia from opening the door to Aurora's chamber. "Oh, you're here" Lia says, smirking at her. "Yeah, I am..." she rolled her eyes at her. "Why are you guys outside?" "Don't!" Just as the night crept, Aurora returned to her chambers after a long night with the princess, finally she found her way out, and huffed, closing the door of her chamber. "Your bathe is ready" Sania says. "Help me, get this dress off" She says, turning around, in seconds her dress dropped, she quickly grabbed a robe covering her naked body. "His Majesty?" Aurora asked, side glancing Sania and Lia who arranged her bed. Sania and Lia helped prepare a warm bathe for her, she dropped her robe as she stepped into the shower, it was indeed warm, she loved it, it felt so relaxing letting the water roll down her skin. "Thank you Sania" she says, smiling and enjoying the pressure of the water, this was exactly what she need after dealing with the princesses. "Your Highness," she smiled, "Do you need me to prepare your dress?" Sania asked, Aurora felt a figure watching her. "Oh... Liam?" Aurora looked around the chamber, she didn't understand what he meant by that, but that was the most foolish thing Liam had ever said to her, She breathed wondering what he meant. Aurora thought of asking him what he meant but she couldn't bring herself to, Robert? what did he have to do with touching her? nothing he said made sense to her, there was a serious matter around the corner, with his attitude she couldn't bring herself to ask him why he did that. "You can do that later, for now let's shower huh?" She managed a smile, trying her best to bring up any topic that would provoke him knowing how Liam was, he could be so annoying especially when he couldn't or doesn't want to answer or talk about something. Aurora lays on his bed, sleeping as Liam steps in, Rialto sat there watching her "How is she?" "She's fine, she just needs rest, she had a hard time staying alone, plus her experience earlier made her shocked. "The baby?" "Fine, but you shouldn't leave her on her own, so it doesn't develop into trauma, it's bad for her health," Rialto says. "Thanks, is that all?" He glanced around. "Yes Sire, I would leave you now" Liam sits beside her watching her sleep. He would have let her stay in his chambers then things would have been different, she wouldn't have to worry about seeing or getting abused. "Sire?" Samuel whispers "Hm?" He turns over, getting out of the bed. "Prince Edward wants to see you" "Outside" Liam mouths, he turns back and Aurora slept soundly. Slowly he shut the door quietly, "What's going on?"
