The midterms were over and it'd been one hell of an awkward one. Junior refused to come home so he spent his midterm break at grandma's place. Speaking of grandmas, I never grew up with one, we never knew each other. I had asked my mum once and she said it in plain, emotionless words that my grandma 'didn't want to meet me'. I sighed as I pushed the thought to the back of my mind. Her loss, not mine.Occasionally bumping into Rose was the main motive behind me calling my break 'awkward'. I don't think I'd ever be able to forget what I saw.School had resumed and the ss2 students had become a shadow of themselves, they were more respectful, neat, quiet and even acted more mature. Days rolled into weeks and time flew by, exams were around the corner.
