“Did something happen?” I rushed to where Tyler was standing after he ended the call.

“Talk to me please!” I yelled, the look on his face is enough proof for me to know that something must have gone wrong.

“Who called you? What were you told!” I asked him but he was silent and kept staring at me with a shocked expression.

I immediately grabbed the phone to check who called him last, it's even an unsaved number.

“Just speak up before I lose my mind! Did something happen or you received bad news? You're getting me scared,”

All of a sudden, Tyler pulled me close and engaged me in a tight hug, getting me more confused.

“Why aren't you saying anything to me? You're scaring the hell out of me! What were you told over the phone? Did something bad happen? Could it be about my dad?” I was just so curious and worried.
