Cole felt suffocated in his own mind. His thoughts were trapped within his head and the fear that at any moment or with any wrong move he would be bounced back to reality sent his nervous system haywire in so many ways.
Although he could not move or feel and definitely not speak, Cole could see and hear. Over the years the man had watched the line blur between right and wrong and every single one of his dreams and aspirations crushed before his eyes.
Every since Aramide died — the woman whom he was so deeply in love with Cole had absolutely went numb and the worst part was he knew she was going to get killed yet he couldn't save her, who does that?
