Rose’s Point of view

I stretched, , a smile tugging at my lips as the morning light filtered through the curtains. Jack’s scent lingered on the sheets, wrapping me in warmth and comfort. I rolled over, running my hand across the empty side of the bed. He must’ve left early. My heart fluttered with excitement as I remembered why I was in such a good mood—today was wedding dress shopping day!

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand, scrolling through my contacts until I found Lucy’s name. She’s going to love this, I thought as I hit the call button. But the phone rang…and rang…and rang. No answer.

“Hmm,” I murmured, frowning. That’s odd. Lucy was usually quick to pick up. I tried again. Still nothing.

Concern prickled at me, and before I could talk myself out of it, I threw on some clothes and headed to her place. The walk over was short, but my mind raced. Is she sick? Overworked? Reaching her apartment, I knocked lightly.

A few moments later, the door creaked open. Lucy stood there in

Rose’s point of viewMy head still spun with Mika’s words, replaying like a broken record in my mind. Hilary… and James? I couldn’t wrap my head around it. How could my supposed father—my enemy—have been involved with her? The same woman who’d done everything in her power to ruin me? My stomach twisted in knots, the betrayal cutting deeper than I ever imagined possible.I sat on the edge of the couch, fingers clenched tightly together, trying to process everything. Mika stood nearby, arms folded, her expression somber. Bianca had already left, sensing the tension thick in the room. Every breath felt heavier, every thought darker. Then, the sound of an engine broke through the silence. Tires crunched against the gravel outside, and I instinctively looked toward the window. Jack’s car pulled up, and beside him, I recognized Marvin’s figure as they stepped out. Marvin glanced at me briefly but then shifted his gaze toward Bianca, who had just reached her car. Their eyes locked for a flee

Jack’s Point of ViewAs I twirled Rose across the dance floor, laughter and music filled the air. But then—movement in the shadows. My sharp gaze caught Hilary, crouched behind a tree, her presence an insult to my authority. How dare she step foot in the Blue Lagoon Pack without my permission?A growl rumbled in my chest as I prepared to command the guards to seize her, but in the next heartbeat, her arm shot forward, and the gleam of metal glinted under the moonlight.A gun.Pointed at Rose.Instinct overrode everything. I lunged, shoving Rose aside just as the deafening crack of the gunshot shattered the night. A fiery pain tore through my chest. My breath hitched. Blood—warm and thick—spread across my shirt and splattered Rose’s gown.Gasps echoed through the crowd, but the only thing I could focus on was Rose’s frantic face hovering over me.“Jack!” she cried, her voice raw with panic. “Stay with me! You’re going to be okay!”Tears streamed down her face, ruining her perfect makeu

Rose’s Point of ViewAs I stood behind Jack, I listened to Hilary’s sobs, her voice laced with desperation as she pleaded for forgiveness. But what truly caught my attention was her mention of the fire in the Maroon Hill Pack’s dungeon.A memory stirred.I remembered that fire all too well. That night, James had thrown a grand party, and while the others reveled in luxury, I had slipped away to check on the imprisoned slaves. The moment I reached the dungeon, I saw thick smoke seeping from the cracks of the heavy iron door. The scent of burning wood and dry grass filled the air.Panic spread as guards shouted, warning that the flames had reached the dungeon’s entrance. Some rushed inside, attempting to quell the blaze, but the fire spread too fast. Soon, fear took over, and they turned to flee, abandoning the remaining prisoners to their fate.I couldn’t stand by and watch them die.Fueled by rage and defiance, I pushed past the guards and charged into the inferno.I had never expecte

Jack’s point of view:I looked directly into Rose’s eyes as she explained everything that had happened that night. I also remembered very clearly that I was not wearing a shirt when the fire broke out. James rarely let his slaves in the dungeon stay dressed, because he thought it was more convenient to inflict pain on us when he whipped us.I couldn't hide the shock in my eyes and firmly squeezed Rose’s fingers. Her long hair and thin physique looked so much like those of the girl who saved me from the fire. This explained why Rose had always felt so familiar to me. She was the one who saved me."Why didn't you ever tell me that? You You should have told me before." Guilt and remorse overwhelmed me as I continued to look at her.If she had told me about it earlier we might have been able to avoid all the misunderstandings between us, and I wouldn't have tortured her like I did. My heart was overflowing with complicated emotions. Fate seemed to have bound us a long time ago."I didn't

Loren’s Point of ViewNot long after I kidnapped Lucy—and Jack stormed in to take her back—my subordinates delivered grim news.“The Blue Lagoon Pack is preparing for war,” one of them reported, his voice tight with fear.“What? Already?” I shoved the sex slave away without a second thought, my mind racing.I had known Jack wouldn’t spare me. He was a vengeful man, not one to be trifled with. Kidnapping Lucy—his pack’s so-called savior—had been a reckless move, but I hadn’t expected retaliation this quickly. I thought I had time. I was wrong.Within a week, his army was on the move.“Are they here yet?” I demanded.“Not yet, Alpha,” the subordinate stammered. “But our scouts spotted the Blue Lagoon army in the neighboring forest. Hundreds of men are advancing toward us.”My blood turned to ice.I knew my pack’s strength—or rather, its weakness. The Black Basin Pack wasn’t strong enough to withstand a full-scale attack from Jack’s forces. Though his pack was relatively new, it was buil

Aaron’s point of view:I didn't expect to hear about the Maroon Hill Pack in the Wouri River Pack.My father was the Gamma of the Maroon Hill pack. Due to James’ brutality at the time, a riot had broken out in the Maroon Hill Pack dungeon, followed by a mass escape of prisoners. Although James was immensely powerful, he was also very vain. His violent and angry personality had made him many enemies. Under Jack’s leadership, the escaped werewolves had gradually formed a powerful army and invaded the Maroon Hill Pack.My father had sent me a last message via the mental link before losing his life in combat. He informed me that the Blue Lagoon Pack army had almost reached the centre of our pack. I felt that the Maroon Hill pack was in real danger this time. To save my life, I immediately dumped Rose, packed my bags and fled the territory of Maroon Hill pack while the war raged.I had heard my father talk about the power of the Wouri River Pack in the south. So, I drove to them and decide

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 174

Rose’s Point of ViewNot long after our wedding, Jack declared war on the Black Basin Pack.Alpha Loren, the so-called leader of the Black Basin Pack, abandoned his pack and fled like a coward. With no one to defend them, Jack easily overpowered the Black Basin Pack, absorbing their territory into ours. With this victory, our resources grew, and the Blue Lagoon Pack became stronger than ever.Despite the conquest, Jack made it clear that his war was against Loren, not the innocent werewolves of the Black Basin Pack. He issued an order allowing them to continue their lives as before. They were not slaves, nor were they prisoners—they were now part of the Blue Lagoon Pack, entitled to the same protection and freedoms. As for me, my life had only gotten busier.Even after officially becoming Luna, I continued my university studies. Jack made sure to pick me up every weekend, taking me back to the pack so I could fulfill my responsibilities. Balancing my academic life with my new role as

Bianca’s Point of ViewSaturday nights were my escape. Bars, loud music, and dancing until my legs ache—it was the best way to shake off the monotony of my life. That night, I wore a tight dress and my favorite punk boots, hoping to find someone who could make my heart race. Unfortunately, the university wasn’t exactly teeming with werewolves. My family had always pushed the idea that Marvin and I were a perfect match. They claimed his steady, composed nature balanced out my wild, impulsive streak.I had given him a chance—more than once, actually. But no matter how many dates we went on, Marvin remained the same: stiff, old-fashioned, and utterly predictable. He only ever wore a black coat or a black leather jacket, and his face never changed from that serious, unreadable mask. Conversations with him felt like sitting through a lecture on tax law—dry, tedious, and completely unromantic. The bar was dimly lit, buzzing with energy. Couples whispered sweet nothings in shadowy corners, o

Bennet’s point of view:I ran in the direction I was coming from.Alan was just a child. He couldn't go far in such a short time.Indeed, I spotted a silhouette fleeing in the forest in front of me after searching for a while. I immediately used my ability to teleport to catch up with him.Alan was so terrified that he stumbled back when he saw me appear. I could understand that he was afraid and hated me now.My face was a mask of rage as I approached him with measured steps."It's not funny for you to test my limits over and over again. Alan, you'd better behave yourself."Then I grabbed his hand and started to walk to the farm.Alan tried to free himself from my grip and said in an innocent and furious voice.“Let go of me!”I tightened my grip on him and said with disdain: "Make your age. Come back docilely with me.""What you did is horrible. I won't help you anymore." Alan continued his desperate struggle as I pulled him forward. His shoes left long marks in the ground.I though

Bennet’s point of view:I bought a farm in the north to use as a temporary prison for wizards who resisted me. I couldn't kill them at the moment, since Alan was with me. Thus, I had no choice but to lock them in the farm to prevent their escape. For more security, I put a magic board around the farm. After Alan found out that I had killed someone, he gradually became depressed. He didn't want to go out with me and stayed locked in the farm all day.Initially, I was convinced that Alan did not have the courage to disobey me. But one night, I could feel that the magical network I had set up was slowly disappearing. Immediately, I got out of bed and ran to the farm. Someone had broken the magical network I used to imprison the wizards! All the wizards were busy rushing out of the farm, their cheers for their freedom echoing in the air. Before I could catch them, they disappeared right in front of me using the magic of teleportation.Alan was there, watching them run away with a smile on

Bennet’s point of view:I dragged Alan with me to the north, where the wizards were much more powerful than those in the south. If I could gather enough people to join me, I could soon wage a war.Alan and I stayed in a small northern town. In order to attract more powerful wizards, I often participated in local meetings in the north. One day, I arrived at an ordinary tavern, filled with the aroma of roast chicken and strong alcohol. The wizards of the north liked to show their power more than the wizards of the south. At that time, several ordinary wizards were competing to see who was the most powerful. However, what they showed were the most basic attack curses that did not even deserve my attention."Good good good. Isn't it Bennet? Why did you come to such a remote place?" One of the wizards recognised me standing in the crowd and approached me with a sarcastic salute."I'm just passing by for a quick look.”I did my best to control my disgust. I had no interest in exchanging wor

Rose’s point of view:For the moment, Jack and I have stayed in the official house of Olivia’s pack. Zoe, on the other hand, followed the wizards of the north every day to inquire about news or updates. She then came back to tell us about the fruit of her work late in the evening. One day, Zoe returned after dusk, exhausted and exhausted from all her energy. She threw her high heels without worrying about the world before throwing herself on the couch crossing her long legs. Her face was streaked with thick makeup and she gave off a strong smell of whiskey."These northern wizards are really good at drinking! I had to drink thirty glasses of wine before I could get them completely drunk. It was hell!"I handed a glass of water to Zoe, which she took with gratitude before swallowing it all at once. After a brief respite, she pulled herself together and analysed what she had learned."I heard from them that Bennet seems to have a mysterious anti-magic power, and it has strengthened his

Olivia’s point of view:Now that I had seen through him, Jared got up from the couch angrily and shouted:"What do you mean?""Do you seriously think I don't know what you're thinking, Jared? You know better than anyone why you came to see me today." I sniffed, took the cup of coffee on the table and put a few pieces of sugar in it. The cubes melted slowly while I stirred the coffee with a spoon. My answer left Jared even more embarrassed and restless. He gave me a disdainful look and tried to reason: "Don't be so ungrateful and arrogant, Olivia. Do you seriously think you can be an Alpha woman for a long time?In the past, everyone was afraid of the Wouri River Pack because of your father. Now that Louis is dead, all those who have been removed by him before will naturally not let things happen. Many packs want your territory and your resources. Although the Green Pine Pack's army is a little weak, it's more than enough to help you. But do you dare to refuse me? I'm afraid that the W

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 357

Olivia’s point of view:As I listened to Jared's hasty explanation with a frown, I noticed that there was something wrong with his choice of words.Although he said he wanted to help me lighten my burdens, his condescending perception of women was evident in the way he spoke. He sounded as if he was a hero or a knight in sparkling armour coming to save me, the damsel in distress. It was degrading. He was far too arrogant for my taste.Even if I wanted to get married, I couldn't find an ounce of sincerity from him. Not to mention that I was not looking for a husband at the moment. I just wanted to focus only on my homework as an Alpha pack. "Do you honestly think it is necessary for an Alpha woman to get married? That this is more important than anything else in this world? Let's say I married you. When that would happen, you would gain authority over my pack and all the werewolves would cling to each of your words. The way I see it, this marriage would be much more beneficial to you

Olivia’s point of view:The next day, my phone rang when I was having my usual breakfast. To my surprise, it was from Alpha Bill. I didn't expect him to call me so early in the morning. Why did this old bastard call me unexpectedly? Was he asking for a fight? Well, it was perfectly good! I myself wanted to have one.I took my phone, ready to talk to him. However, something even more unexpected happened."Hello, Olivia, sorry to bother you so soon. Regarding our discussion yesterday, I am ready to accept the changes to the contract you propose. I was a little reckless yesterday and I didn't think so. Honestly, now that I've slept on it, I think the conditions you've proposed for our cooperation are excellent." Bill's way of speaking was, to put it simply, extremely humble and polite. There was no trace of the arrogance he showed yesterday.Suffice it to say that I was stunned, quite stunned by his sudden change of attitude. It was strange, and I didn't understand why he was acting like

Olivia’s point of view:After becoming the Alpha of the Wouri RiverPack, I mentally prepared myself to face the challenges ahead. Because I was an Alpha woman, my problems and difficulties were much more important than those of an Alpha man. It was exhausting, but it was in my expectations.Rose was concerned about my well-being.Being the kind person she was, she kept learning about my current situation and seemed eager to help me as she could. I told her everything, without sparing any detail."Soon after I took office, I received many complaints in my file. We may seem to live in peace right now, but in truth, there are werewolves who don't accept me like their Alpha. They openly turned against me several times during our meetings. They suggested making other male werewolves the Alpha. Some even went so far as to sow trouble in the pack! They spread ugly rumours that the pack was in trouble because of my mismanagement. They wanted to force me to resign. For now, I have only managed

Rose's point of view:Shortly after I was discharged from the hospital, Zoe went to the villa for a visit. After Bennet kidnapped Alan, she had taken active measures to find Alan's whereabouts."You heard from other wizards yesterday that they had seen Bennet appear with his men several times in the north. They may be in the north at the moment, but as you can guess, this place is a little too far. Do you want to go?"Zoe looked very anxious when she asked us for our opinion. She was probably deeply worried about Alan."I also want to bring Alan back, and I want to help Jack regain his memory as soon as possible. But I don't know if we can succeed on this trip. After all, Bennet is very powerful."Of course, I wanted to venture into the north. The choice was obvious. I turned to look at Jack, who was leaning against the sofa. He had the whole pack to manage, so it would probably be difficult for him to leave the pack behind."So here we go. I'll let Marvin manage the pack while I'm aw
