Rose’s point of view:

The next morning, I went to talk to Jack. I wanted to try to cure Uriel's madness for Jack as soon as possible so that I could leave with Andrea.

"Can you try to free Uriel?” I dragged Jack into the living room which was spacious enough for our program of the day. In case Uriel loses his temper and tries to hurt me, I could find a place to hide in this parlour.

Jack had just finished having breakfast. He may not have expected me to try to treat Uriel so soon, so he looked a little uncertain.

"Uriel is not a morning guy and is usually grumpy at this time. I think we should start the treatment in the evening.” Jack's eyebrows wrinkled thoughtfully.

It was really an unconvincing excuse. Why was he always trying to delay treatment? The sooner I cured Uriel's disease, the sooner Andrea and I could leave this place.

We could also end this embarrassing relationship as soon as possible.

"Stop looking for excuses, Jack", I sighed and said in a serious voice.

I knew his ki

Jack’s Point of View“I feel much better than before. Now hurry up and eat your breakfast.”I placed the tray on the table and sat beside Rose. Last night, for the first time in years, I slept soundly. No nightmares. No chaos. Just a calm, dreamless rest that left me feeling lighter than I ever had before. But the real reason for this newfound peace was sitting right next to me.Rose had barely woken up, her hair slightly tousled, her skin still carrying the warmth of sleep. Her scent—soft and familiar—wrapped around me, stirring something deep in my chest. I instinctively wanted to move closer to her, to stay in this moment just a little longer. Then, as if sensing the shift in the air, Rose subtly leaned away.“It’s good to see some color back in your face,” she said with a small smile, studying me carefully. “Don’t worry. You’ll be fully recovered in time. I’m going to wash up.”I watched as she disappeared into the bathroom, her presence leaving behind an ache I didn’t know how to

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   chapter 148

Rose’s Point of ViewI had deliberately devised something to irritate Jack. If I succeeded, he might just hate me for it. And that was exactly what I wanted—or at least, what I told myself I needed. Jack was trying to hold me back, and the thought of it terrified me. No matter what, the deep resentment that existed between us could never be erased.Meanwhile, Uriel’s condition was steadily improving. It wouldn’t be long before he fully recovered, and once that happened, Andrea and I would leave.I tried to push these thoughts aside, but the idea of leaving Jack unsettled me more than I cared to admit. And now that I knew he was my mate, my feelings had only intensified. I found myself stealing glances at him when I thought he wasn’t looking. His deep, captivating gaze, his tall and commanding presence, his composed and steady nature—everything about him made my heart race. Worse yet, an instinctive hostility flared within me whenever other wolves interacted with him, an emotion I desp

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 149

Rose’s Point of ViewMika revealed to me that she wasn’t a member of the Maroon Hill Pack. She belonged to a rare and nearly extinct lineage of werewolves known as the Secret Race.Every member of the Secret Race was born with the gift of healing, but their existence had made them targets. Many werewolves, driven by greed, had hunted them down, seeking to exploit their powers. Over the years, countless members had been captured and used as tools, pushing their kind to the brink of extinction.During Mika’s youth, war had raged between packs. Because of her healing ability, my father had set his sights on her. He abducted her entire family and brought them to the Maroon Hill Pack, forcing them into captivity. But Mika had refused to obey him. In retaliation, my father murdered her husband before her eyes. For years, she had been forced to witness his cruelty—his torturous experiments on captured wolves, his relentless thirst for power. It had broken her spirit, slowly unraveling her sa

Rose’s Point of View“I… I want to find Armin,” Mika said suddenly, gripping my hand tightly. Her eyes were filled with desperate hope. “You said she might be in the Blue Lagoon Pack. Can we go look for her right now?”Her eagerness was palpable, as if she couldn’t bear to wait even a second longer to be reunited with her daughter.I squeezed her frail hands gently, trying to calm her. “No, Mika. You need to rest and complete your treatment first. Once you’re strong enough, you can leave the hospital and begin your search. I promise I’ll help you,” I reassured her in a soothing voice.Mika had made progress, but she wasn’t fully recovered yet. Rushing off in search of Armin now would only put her at risk. She needed to heal first. The search for her daughter could wait just a little longer. After leaving the hospital, I returned to the villa to check on Jack. The treatment I had given Uriel the day before had worked well, and I planned to continue with another session today.Jack had

Rose’s Point of ViewThe next morning, the entire university was blanketed in white. Snowflakes fell steadily, clinging to students’ coats and hair as they hurried into the lecture hall. Amid the bustling crowd, I spotted Ariel making his way toward me, his expression a mix of excitement and nervousness.“Rose! Have you heard about the ball happening at the university tonight?” he asked, his smile tentative.I vaguely remembered Bianca mentioning it in the dorm, but I hadn’t given it much thought. Parties and dancing were the least of my concerns. My mind was already burdened with too many problems.“I have,” I replied, licking my dry lips. “Why do you ask?”Ariel hesitated for a moment before speaking. “I’d like to invite you. Everyone’s going, and I think it would do you good to socialize. You spend too much time cooped up in the dorm. Parties and… well, new experiences should be part of your university life, too.”A small, hopeful smile played on his lips, but his eyes betrayed his

Jack’s Point of ViewEvery weekend, Rose returned to treat Uriel. After several consecutive weeks of care, his condition had improved significantly. He was no longer uncontrollably furious, and he behaved much more rationally when I let him out.“Can you stop letting me out so often? All this running around is exhausting,” Uriel grumbled, stretching lazily. He would much rather spend the day sleeping in peace.I smirked. “Haven’t you always demanded that I release you?”Uriel huffed, clearly forgetting how restless and temperamental he had been before.“I don’t want to see Rose anymore,” he muttered. “She always strokes my ears and belly like I’m some kind of pet. Honestly, I don’t see what you like about her. Sure, she has a pretty face and—well—certain assets, but other than that…” He trailed off with a teasing glint in his eyes.I raised an eyebrow. “If I remember correctly, you love curling up on her lap whenever she visits. And I distinctly recall you throwing a fit once just bec

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 153

Rose’s Point of ViewAs Jack’s partner, my wolf, Cora, could naturally sense Uriel’s state. So when Jack claimed that Uriel hadn’t fully recovered, I couldn’t bring myself to believe him.“He’s such a terrible liar. Look at Uriel, pretending to limp like that. It’s pathetic,” Cora scoffed in my mind, making me roll my eyes. I didn’t hesitate to cut through their little performance.I knew Jack was stalling—using Uriel’s supposed “relapse” as an excuse to keep me from leaving. Part of me didn’t want to go either, but staying would only make things harder. Dragging out the inevitable would deepen the ache that already throbbed in my chest.Jack shifted back into his human form, his movements slower than usual. He sank onto the sofa, elbows resting on his knees, gaze fixed on the floor. Silence stretched between us, broken only by the steady tick of the clock.Taking a breath to steady myself, I sat across from him. “Jack, you promised you’d let me go when Uriel was healed.” My voice was

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 154

Jack’s Point of ViewThe following week passed faster than I expected. I helped Rose pack her belongings and move to the university. Andrea’s transfer was finalized during the same period. It felt like time had slipped through my fingers—like I was watching everything I held dear slip away.On the day of Rose’s departure, a crowd of werewolves gathered at the pack’s border to say goodbye. Rose looked genuinely surprised—astonished that she’d formed bonds in the Blue Lagoon Pack despite everything.“Don’t forget me after you move, alright?” Samuel said, his usual gruffness softened by emotion. “I’m a cranky old man. Might call you one day just to yell at you.” He handed her a worn notebook. “I gathered important surgical notes for you. Hope it helps.”“Thank you, Samuel,” Rose murmured, pressing her hands against the notebook, visibly touched.I hadn’t expected her to show such vulnerability. Tears welled in her eyes as she bid farewell to the wolves she’d helped these past months. One

Hilary’s point of view I can’t take this anymore. Loren—he’s unbearable. Rough, uncaring…he doesn’t know the first thing about taking care of a woman. No softness, no consideration. Just his demands, his selfishness. I never wanted this—never asked for him. But what choice did I have? Out there in the wild, I wouldn’t have lasted a day after Jack drove me from the Blue Lagoon pack. The wilderness is cruel, and death would’ve found me faster than mercy. So, I stayed with Loren. I survived. But at what cost?Gods, the way he touches me—it’s nothing like what it should be. Not tender. Not loving. Just…possessive. Like I’m some object to use whenever he pleases. And as if that humiliation isn’t enough, he parades around with those other women—those slaves. Don't even bother to hide it. He’ll come to me at night, take what he wants, then stroll off to warm someone else’s bed without so much as a backward glance. There’s no respect. No dignity left for me. I was treated better at Blue Lago

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 163

Lucy’s Point of View:When I first arrived at the Blue Lagoon Pack, my gaze was immediately drawn to their young Alpha, Jack Harris. I had expected an older man, seasoned and rugged—but Jack was something else entirely. He was young, commanding, and undeniably handsome, exuding a natural authority that demanded respect. His very presence seemed destined for leadership, and the loyalty of his pack members reflected that.Something inside me stirred the first time Jack’s eyes met mine. My heart skipped a beat, pounding in a way I couldn’t ignore. But Jack’s attention was fixed solely on Rose. Whether she noticed or chose to ignore it, I wasn’t sure—but his gaze softened with warmth whenever he looked at her. It was that tender look, reserved only for her, that twisted something deep inside me. I silently wished she wouldn’t return his feelings.Rose and I had grown up together—I knew her better than anyone. Even if she never said it out loud, I could tell she liked Jack too. I had seen

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 162

Jack’s Point of View:Rose rushed back to the Blue Lagoon Pack, her expression tense as she entered. “Any news from Lucy? Is Loren demanding money or something?” Her voice carried urgency while Ross paced anxiously nearby.“He’s asking for sixty million dollars for Lucy’s release,” I said. “But don’t worry, I’ve already ordered my team to gather the funds.” I hoped my reassurance would ease Ross’s nerves.“Sixty million? That’s insane! Loren kidnapped her just to extort us?” Rose’s face drained of color at the hefty demand.“Let me handle this,” I murmured, pulling her into my arms. Loren’s vendetta was with me, not Lucy. She had been caught in the crossfire, and that guilt weighed heavily on me.“Stay here—I’ll take care of it,” I said, guiding Rose back to the villa.“But what are you going to do?” Her gaze searched mine, anxiety etched into her features. She knew me too well to believe I’d simply pay Loren without retaliation. I wasn’t the type to be humiliated or let someone profi

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 161

Loren’s Point of ViewI harbored a deep, burning grudge against Jack.He had humiliated me, stripped me of power, and left my pack in ruins. Ever since that defeat, the Black Basin Pack had been clawing its way back from the edge of collapse. I’d been forced to sell high-ranking slaves and part with some of my most valuable possessions just to keep us afloat. Now, even buying a decent bottle of wine made me think twice—something I never imagined I’d endure.Damn him.Jack would pay for what he’d done to me. Revenge wasn’t just a desire—it was a necessity. I couldn’t sleep at night without hearing his name echoing through my fury.Fortunately, fate had thrown me a lifeline—Hilary. Cast out by Jack, she had wasted no time joining the Black Basin Pack. And what a valuable asset she’d become. Hilary was useful in every way imaginable—she knew things, secrets about Jack and Rose—and she was eager to share them, especially after a night in my bed.Together, we’d spent countless hours plotti

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 160

Rose’s Point of ViewThe next morning, I woke up in Jack’s bed.The last thing I remembered was falling asleep, but I had no idea how I ended up here. My body still ached from our passionate encounter the night before, leaving me both exhausted and strangely content.“Get up and get dressed,” Jack said with a warm smile as he approached me, already fully dressed. He looked impeccable in a custom-tailored black suit, a crisp white ruffled shirt, and a light blue vest that brought out his eyes. “I’m gathering the Blue Lagoon Pack today to officially announce that you’re not James’s daughter.”He sat beside me and gently smoothed my messy hair. I leaned into his touch, then impulsively wrapped my arms around him.“I’m a little nervous,” I admitted, rubbing my eyes before resting my head against his shoulder. His familiar scent filled my senses, comforting and grounding me. Without thinking, I hooked my legs around his waist, clinging to him as if letting go would make everything unravel.

Rose’s point of view:"Of course, I will always keep my word. ”Jack had a serious but tender expression. He raised his hand to run his fingers over my face and lips."Tomorrow, I will announce your true identity to the Blue Lagoon Pack, then we will organise the Luna ceremony.”I nodded. My eyelids lowered slightly as I rejoiced at Jack’s contact. His face was illuminated by an affectionate smile, and I could see my reflection in his amber eyes. His eyes ran over my face before landing on my lips. He leaned over, kissed me passionately and bit my lower lip. I gasped, and he took the opportunity to slip the tip of his tongue into my mouth. He pressed me against the wall with His large and powerful body.Be careful, it was the hospital. I squirmed a little."Not here. Others might see us. ”I placed my palms on Jack’s chest to put space between us. He glanced around him and pulled me further into the corridor. We didn't stop until we found an empty room. He locked the door, pushed me a

Rose’s Point of ViewI cried in Mika’s arms for what felt like an eternity until my tears finally slowed, leaving me drained but strangely lighter.“James was a monster,” Mika spat through gritted teeth. Her face twisted with raw anger, her entire body trembling. “He deserved worse than death for what he did. So many years… stolen from us because of his cruelty.”Her rage burned hot, but something about the intensity of it unsettled me. I gently wiped away her tears, my hand smoothing over her back in an attempt to calm her. Her breathing gradually slowed, and a smile of relief broke through her anguish.“Goddess of the Moon,” she whispered, glancing upward with gratitude, “thank you for keeping my daughter safe.” Her gaze returned to me, glistening with joy. “Armin… you have no idea how happy I am right now.”I helped her settle onto the couch, though her emotions still swung wildly between happiness and fury. She was overwhelmed—understandably so—but I worried about the strain it wa

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 157

Rose’s Point of View“What do you want from me, Jack?” I demanded, pushing him away to put some distance between us. We were still too close—just a few centimeters apart—and his intoxicating scent clouded my thoughts.“You’ll find out soon enough,” he said, voice laced with mystery. He pulled back, his touch lingering for a moment before he withdrew completely. With surprising tenderness, he straightened my shirt, buttoning it for me, and carefully hung my bra on the edge of the bed. His lips brushed against my cheek as he whispered, “I miss you so much, baby.”I opened my mouth to respond—whether to scold him or something else, I didn’t know—but he didn’t give me the chance. Grabbing my hand, he tugged me out of the dormitory and led me to his car. The ride was a blur of questions I couldn’t voice, anxiety churning in my stomach. When we arrived at the Blue Lagoon Pack, I expected anything but what came next. Jack didn’t slow down until we reached his villa. Inside, Mika was waiting.

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 156

Rose’s Point of ViewWhat bound Jack and me was supposed to be over. I thought I would finally feel free—at peace, even—but instead, a hollow emptiness lingered. I wanted a life without complications, yet the sadness weighed heavier than I’d expected.Back in my dormitory, I sat by the window, watching the trees sway under the night breeze. My mind wandered restlessly, unable to settle. Maybe a distraction would help. I thought about talking to Bianca—her carefree attitude often lifted my spirits—but glancing around the empty room reminded me that she was probably at one of her usual Saturday night parties.Letting out a soft sigh, I locked the door and collapsed onto my bed. Sleep. That should help. I closed my eyes, willing the heaviness in my chest to dissolve. But then my phone rang.“Hello?” I mumbled, eyes still shut. Who’s calling at this hour?Jack’s voice came through the speaker. “Rose, it’s me. Come down—I’m outside your dorm.”My eyes flew open. My fingers clenched around
