I took the knife that Will had given me and finally decided which part of Felix's body I was going to open. The truth was I had never done such a thing like this before, but I still remembered what that pack priestess had done for Zayn, so I figured it couldn't be as hard as I had thought.

After I made a long cut on his chest, I immediately applied the same cut on my palm and pressed them together. The act of mixing blood was a dangerous one since there was a risk of me getting infected, too, but I was still counting on Zayn's immunity against such a state to help me.

I squeezed my hand tighter and poured more fresh blood into his open wound. Waiting for the expected result felt like an eternity in my mind but I just couldn't give up hope.
