When I finally returned to the house, I went straight to my son's room. As I entered, I was surprised to see Alexei and his father engrossed in a video game, sitting on the bed. They both briefly glanced in my direction as I walked in, before returning their focus to the television screen.

Ouch.

I walked over to them and asked, "Hey, what are you guys up to?"

Zayn suddenly put down the game controller on the bed and exited the room without a single word. I was quite flustered by his rude attitude so I turned to my son for an explanation, “What's wrong with him?”

“We saw you kissing that man,” Alexei's words shocked me to the core as he continued his game.

“Darling, it's not what you think,” I struggled to defend myself even though I had no idea what they were talking about. “Felix and I were just exchanging pack touch. You might have seen things wrong.”
