CHAPTER-2

AURORA

I want an answer. Who the hell am I? Am I also a demon-like them? But I was different from him. His wings were black and like normal ones but mine is different. It's crimson red and has blades at the end of each feather. 

And about my face, it was also changing from one side. I don't know how it was looking. If Amy was conscious then she could have told me. But she was unconscious by then. 

I don't want to be a demon. A beast. Please tell me that I'm not a Demon.  Only my mother can tell me what am I?  And why so?

"Who am I, Mom?" I asked in a serious tone looking sternly at her. 

"My daughter." I looked at her dumbly. 

"I'm serious Mom." Crossing my hands across my chest I spoke dead seriously. 

"So am i. Do you think I adopted you?" Raising her left brow she asked me.

"No. I didn't mean that way. It's….."

"Ughh! It's so complicated." I rubbed my palms on my face feeling baffled. 

"You don't know what the hell happened today, Mom." Amy took part in our conversation. And I'm glad about that. I think she can explain this matter better than I. 

"What happened?" I heard Aunt Tracey's wondering voice who makes an entry into the hall room. 

"We encountered some Demons today. And almost been killed by them. Out of the blue, they appeared and brought us somewhere in a jungle."

Hearing Amy their eyes went wide and they glanced at each other. 

"They were so horrible and hellish. I'm still feeling goosebumps all over my body just by remembering them." She shrank after saying.

Mom and Aunt both ran to us and hugged us. Mom hugged me and Aunt hugged Amy.

"Are you both fine?" Mom's both palms cupped our faces.

"Jenny, let them come inside at least and sit. We can sit and talk comfortably." We all sat in our respective places.

"Now tell me, what exactly happened earlier. " 

I told mom how they appeared out of the blue and took us to a Jungle by teleporting. Then they attack Amy. And my transformation. Mom and Aunt were extremely shocked to hear me. And their expressions were telling me that they knew something.

And I also tell them how I teleport us back home. They were stunned to hear my words.

"Now you tell me what I'm? And about this power." I lit up my palm with my firepower to show them and waited for her to concede what she knew. 

"And about this too." I stood up from my seat and spread my wings. 

They covered their mouth in shock. Even Amy. Because she didn't witness it beforehand.

My mother's face turned pale in aghast. And I noticed Aunt Lana squeeze my mother's hand. They shared a glance and my mother's expression changed suddenly into a normal one.

Aunt Lana let out a deep sigh and look at me, "Rory, You're a blessed child. That's why you have powers. Just like me. You know I'm an angel, right? " 

Yes, I know. But my powers are different from hers. Which clearly shows that I am not like them at all.

My Mom takes my hand in hers and squeezes it lightly. "Don't stress Rory. It's totally fine."

She cupped my face in a side way and continued.

"I know you must be thrilled and thinking that you are not like Lana. But believe me, everyone has different power and has been born for a different reason." 

"It's a blessing my child. With your powers, you can save lives, just the way you did today. And I'm proud of you Hun." She kissed my forehead and give me a loving smile after pulling away. 

"Don't worry, Lana will teach you how to use and control your powers."

"Yes. I'll give you training. I'm so excited." Lana squealed with delight, hugging me tightly. I looked back at Amy whose face was clouded, staring at us. But the moment her gaze met mine her expression changed and she smiled at me. 

Suddenly what happened to her!!! 

Every early in the morning, Lana gives me training. She teaches me how to control my powers and how to manipulate someone and control their mind.

 The most difficult task was to fly. I had trouble with flying at first, the fact that my bladed wings have caused some damage to myself and others. 

I'm glad about one thing, I never transform into a devil form again. Lana told me that it's self-actualized by my innermost emotions and anger.

Five years later…….

"Rory, why are you still here? Your fans are getting crazy waiting for you." I rolled my eyes and looked back at him. 

"I know, I know. I'm coming. Go and announce this." I shooed him away by saying that. 

I pick up my guitar and make my way to the stage. Where a thousand fans of mine are waiting for me and my song. 

The moment I stepped onto the stage I beamed with the cheering sound of my fans. 

Picking up my guitar I start singing my new written song. The way they were whistling and screaming made me certain that they liked my new song a lot.

After the concert, I decided to go for a walk near the woods. Where I can fly too without being noticed by others.

I teleported myself to the woods and smiled after reaching there. I love this place. It gives me peace. 

I start walking into the woods. It's the same jungle where I had been brought by those Demons five years back. 

And met with that wolf. I started to research werewolves from the time when I first saw one, that day five years back. Lana gives me a book about werewolves. From that, I learn a lot of things about them. 

After doing some research I came to know that he was the son of the  Alpha King. Dillon wood is the Alpha of the Blood moon pack. And his son is Levi wood.

 

Since our first met, I have never met him. And I'm not interested at all. It was Amy who was plastering me to research about him. I think she has a crush on him.

After walking for a good time I noticed something from afar falling from the cliff. I rushed in that direction, opening my wings. 

But the sad part is that by the time I reached, the person had already fallen from the cliff. 

It was a girl who was lying on the ground on her stomach showering in blood. I sat beside her and turned her body, making her lie flat. I put her head on my lap which was covered with blood and moved her hair from her face and froze. 

My eyes went wide and my heart skipped a beat. The person who's lying on my lap is my best friend, Sianna. 

I checked her breathing first with my trembling hand. And found she's still breathing.

"Hey, Sia, open your eyes." I tapped on her cheek and found her opening her eyes half. 

"Rory." A shaky voice came out of her mouth. And tears began to stream down her eyes. 

"Sia, How did all this happen to you?" Tears slid down kissing my cheeks.

"Le……" A whimper escaped from her mouth.

 "Levi……" She takes a heavy breath. And I felt a pang in my heart.

"Levi……pushed me off….." Her heartbeat became low. And the body started to become cold. She starts breathing heavily.

"The…. cliff. And A….." She took a heavy breath and everything seemed to stop. 

She was just looking at me with her wide eyes when her heartbeat just stopped.

My heart sank in pain. It had been hard for me to breathe. Pain scourged my heart. 

"Sianna," I screamed in agony. 

It feels like my heart is bleeding. She was my closest friend, like a sister. But we were not much in contact after she met Levi. Levi Wood, The Alpha of the Blood moon back. The same man with whom I met five years back.

Even though Sianna was a human. She was fated to be his mate. And that fate caused her death. 

I couldn't do anything to save her. It's my fault that I didn't visit her. I wish I could save her. 

I hugged her and wept. "I'm sorry, Sia. I'm sorry."

More tears flooded down my eyes. When our old happy memory flashes in memory.

"He has done very wrong to you. How can he do such a heinous sin? He has to pay for this." I said to her seething in anger.

"I promise I'll average for you." I felt extreme rage building inside me. And my body is on fire.

"Sianna." I roared in outrage and grief. Suddenly I heard thundering sounds and felt flashes of light around me. Out of the blue, a heavy wind appears around me like a tornado.

I felt my eyes begin to heavy and I fall on Sia.
