8. Battle

ANASTASIA

I heard the whistle indicating to start the fight. My arm started to burn but I just ignored the pain. What matters most right now is to prove to him that I'm not less than him. I looked into his eyes but I think it was a bad idea as when I looked into his eyes my heart skipped a beat and I felt uneasy. But it wasn't the time to feel awkward. So I steadied myself and concentrated on the fight.

We began to circle each other observing each other's movements. It was him who tried to hit me with an uppercut but I blocked him and hit him in the gut. He stumbles over holding his stomach. I wait for him to get back to normal and punch him in the face. I didn't expect him to flip and punch me back with a force. It was hard and blood came out of my mouth. For a moment he stood in his place in shock and I took the opportunity to kick him. I went two-three steps back and kicked him on the side of his face making him fall to the ground.
