Kain’s POV

“Alpha Kain, the reconstruction of the burned down building is almost fully done.”

I look up from my desk at the middle aged man with a construction helmet, standing right in front of me.

He shivers, holding onto the ends of his shirt nervously and daring not to look me in the eye while he speaks.

“We’ve also removed the room from the building layout like you had requested.” He refers to Ariel’s room that had been removed.

“Good.”

I had specifically asked for that because she would never need to move back in there or obtain a higher status after what she had tried to do to my little spit fire

Also because there would be no one else moving in there.

It’s crazy, a big step, deciding not to add another woman, but since she walked in, the desire for anything else has left me
