Chapter 4

“Are you sure?" The bartender asked and Damon nodded.

“Alright then." He went to the wine shelf to fetch Damon's order, not before giving him an odd look.

Damon could still sense the presence of the nightwalkers and when he took his eyes to his left hand side he saw them, the two vampires camouflaging themselves as humans with two human ladies each by their sides. They were dressed up in expensive attires. Clean Italian suits. It is very clear that they were wealthy. Damon knew for sure that wealthy vampires are the most dangerous, since they would have both humans and vampires working for them. Not that Damon was scared or anything like that. He was just being observant.

As he took notice of them he saw that the vampires also had eyes on him. They must have also sensed he wasn't human but Damon could see the confusion in their eyes as to what sort of creature he was. He would leave them to figure it out. That wasn't his concern.

Finally the bartender brought his drinks that he ordered and Damon helped himself to fill a large glass cup. He was indeed thirsty because he gulped it down in a few seconds leaving the bartender bewildered. Damon was unconcerned about him though and he poured himself yet another drink but then he felt a tap on his left shoulder. Turning only his neck around he saw a man standing at his back, looking all tough and powerful.

”My boss would like to see you." The man said, pointing towards the two vampires.

Damon sighed: ”I don't have time for this."

“I am sorry but you have to come with me. It's not a request, it's an order." The man said and he shifted the lower part of his shirt to reveal the head of a pistol whose remaining body part is buried in his trousers.

A frown formed on Damon's face.

“It's like someone is too eager to pay a visit to my old man in hell," Damon said silently, still trying his best to control his rage.

No one is safe when he lets his demons lose, absolutely no one!

“You look great. Can you please stop checking your dress and let's go to the damn party already? Gush!"

A very frustrated Kate said and I was the reason for her frustration.

“But isn't the gown too short? I don't want to give the wrong impression of myself to others," I said, still studying my outfit in the standing mirror.

I really didn't like what I was seeing in the mirror. I am looking more of a slut than myself. The black gown I was putting on though beautiful is just too tight, bringing out my curves that I would prefer hidden and its too short. It's making me feel so uncomfortable. I could feel the cold air touching part of my exposed thighs that my dresses usually used to cover, since they are always extending down close to my knees but this dress is far away from reaching my knees and it's giving me that feeling like I am naked.

Gosh, I can't go out looking this way.

I don't wear dresses like this, in fact I don't have any dresses like this in my wardrobe. I am actually in Kate's room and this is one of Kate's dresses I am putting on.

“They ain't short. Gosh! Those are one of my best dresses that I am giving you and you are not even being appreciative," Kate said and now she is sounding upset.

“Oh don't get me wrong. I ain't saying the dress isn't beautiful. It is actually really beautiful, just it's kinda too short." I said, trying my best not to sound in a way that she would find upsetting.

“We are going for a party you don't expect to dress up like a firefighter with all your skin covered up. This is what people wear to parties these days. We don't live in the nineties anymore."

Now she is just trying to insult my dress sense. Well I don't blame her. I hardly go out to parties or social events so I wouldn't know how they dress in such places.

“Okay I have heard you. So you are saying I am good this way?"

“Yes! Let's go!!"

Kate practically dragged me from her room to her vehicle parked inside her compound before she drove off to the party...

On getting to the party I felt less awkward as everyone was practically dressed the way Kate and I were dressed, even more worse. Lot of skin and flesh were left exposed. Gosh! They should just walk around naked if they are so eager to show off their bodies, I mean what's the point of putting on clothes when one could see everything??

“I forgot to ask, what's the occasion for anyways?" I said to Kate.

“Occasion?" She looked confused.

“I meant the party, what are they or we celebrating?"

“Today is Friday, is there any other better reason to party? Woah!" She said then flung her hands in the air in a celebratory mood.

I shook my head with a wide smile. This girl is crazy.

“Where are the drinks! I need to get drunk tonight!" Kate screamed.

“You're sick." I said and we both laughed..

The party was indeed fun, we drank and danced. Kate did most of everything dancing and drinking. I mostly danced and drank less. Even my dancing wasn't much compared to that of Kate's. Anyways it was fun until it wasn't anymore thanks to the other gender that just couldn't keep their hands to themselves.

Yeah, I am talking about men or should I call them boys? Because that's exactly how they behaved. Silly, uncultured boys.

Two boys walked up to us.

“Hey hotties. You girls are looking deliciously sweet! and me and my friends here would love to have a dance with you."

One of the boys said, getting uncomfortably close to me and the way he spoke, so full of himself like he is one irresistible catch. Maybe because he is blonde or he thinks he is handsome. I don't care whatever the case is. I turned him down.

“No, thank you." I managed to smile, hoping he would get the memo that I am not interested in dancing with him but this boy kept insisting that I dance with him.

It was becoming irritating and it's now more like harassment because he wasn't only asking with his mouth, his hands were also touching my body. I guess because my best friend Kate agreed to dance with his friend after much persuasion he was also determined to get me to dance with him but there was no way I am dancing with him. No way!

“Come on just one dance. I just want to dance with you. I don't bite. Why are you forming hard to get? I promise it will be fun. Come on...."

“Stop touching me! Don't you understand the meaning of Noo!" I yelled in his face and I could see he became embarrassed.

I felt bad somewhat, I didn't mean to embarrass him but he should have let me be when I told him I am not interested.

“Fine, have it your way then."

His face was that of an angry one now.

“But know for sure this isn't the end." He turned and walked out of sight.

Enough dancing, I decided to sit down so I walked to the nearest empty chair and sat down.

Wait, but what does he mean by ‘This isn't the end?' Probably nothing to worry about. I guess his huge ego couldn't handle rejection and he is trying to still look all worthy and sh*t.

Next time he should learn how to treat a lady well.

“Ah..Ah.." Gloria was moaning softly as Donald had pinned her to the wall and was kissing on her neck while romancing and playing with her medium size boobs.

They had left the restaurant and are now inside a hotel apartment after Gloria had offered Donald sex. He was surprised at how bold she was at first about it but later he was happy he doesn't have to do too much to impress her before he gets inside her panties since she has offered it to him on a silver platter…

“Ahh.. your body is so damn soft and you smell really good," Donald moaned as he toyed with her breasts and kissed her up her neck to her ears.

“Can you just fuck me already," Gloria said and Donald smiled, thinking he was driving her crazy with his touches but not knowing that Gloria was trying all her best to stop thinking of Damon as she was still thinking of him despite Donald touching her in the most sexual of ways.

“I see you don't want to slow down. I can be fast. I can be fast as a train," he said smiling and his dimples grew wider.

As we strolled away from the lake, I couldn't shake off the enchanting feeling that lingered within me. The tales Jeremy had shared about Lake Town's mystical past swirled in my mind, leaving me wondering if there was truth to the legends. We walked back towards the bustling crowd, where Jeremy greeted his friends and family with warm smiles and introductions. However, the atmosphere shifted abruptly, like a sudden change in the wind. The chatter and laughter ceased, replaced by tense whispers and worried glances. I sensed a collective unease settling over the crowd."What are they doing here?" a man in his mid-forties muttered, his voice laced with concern. I followed his gaze and saw them – four individuals clad in black, long coats that seemed to absorb the light around them. Their skin was as pale as snow, and their eyes sparkled like pearls. One of them, a man with piercing red pupils, exuded an aura of danger with every step he took.At first, I thought there were only four of t

Jane's POV:As I opened the door, I couldn't help but smile when I saw Jeremy standing on my doorstep, looking relaxed and casual in his round-neck shirt, jeans, and jacket. He didn't seem to be following the traditional date attire, but he still managed to look effortlessly handsome.I, on the other hand, felt a twinge of regret for choosing to wear a gown. I had thought it would be a nice touch, but now I felt a bit overdressed compared to Jeremy. Maybe I should have opted for something more casual, I thought.Jeremy's eyes lit up as he took in my appearance, and he smiled warmly. "Wow, you look really beautiful," he said, his voice sincere and genuine. I felt a blush rise to my cheeks as I smiled back at him."Thank you," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant despite the flutter in my chest. "You look good too."Jeremy chuckled and looked down at his outfit, seeming a bit embarrassed. "Hope I'm not too underdressed?" he asked.I shook my head, smiling reassuringly. "Nah, you look g

Author's POVDamon walked into his hotel apartment, his eyes scanning the room with a mixture of curiosity and annoyance. His cousin, Roshan, was lounging on the sofa, watching TV with a look of utter relaxation."It seems you'll start paying rent, because you're staying here more than I am," Damon said, his tone dry and his expression unyielding.Roshan smiled lazily, not bothering to get up. "Welcome back, little brother. A little rent is nothing for a prince of hell. You know you can buy the world ten times over if you want."Damon's frown deepened, his eyes flashing with irritation. "I am no longer a prince of hell. I have denounced everything to do with that place, so I would appreciate it if you didn't address me as such."Roshan's smile never wavered, but his eyes gleamed with amusement. "Once a prince, always a prince. And this brings me to the reason why I'm here. Your father, the Dark Lord, needs you in hell. He says it's urgent."Damon's expression turned glacial, his voice

Jane's POV:I was fast asleep, lost in a world of dreams, when suddenly I felt a shiver run down my spine. My eyes fluttered open, and I was met with an eerie darkness. That's when I saw him - or at least, I thought I did. A figure that looked uncannily like Damon stood in the shadows, his presence making my heart skip a beat."Damon," I muttered, my voice barely above a whisper. Fear and excitement wrestled for dominance within me.I fumbled for the light switch beside my bed, and as the room was bathed in a warm glow, I realized I was alone. The room was empty, but I could have sworn I saw Damon standing there just moments before.A shiver ran down my spine as I sat up in bed, my mind racing with doubts. Was I seeing things? Was it just a dream? That's when I noticed something odd - my window was wide open, and the curtain was billowing in the wind. I distinctly remembered locking it before going to bed.A sense of unease settled in the pit of my stomach as I slowly got out of bed

I wrapped my hands around the warm cup of coffee, feeling a sense of unease as I sat across from Tristan. The coffee shop was bustling with activity, but my focus remained on the mysterious stranger."So, how do you know Damon again?" I asked, trying to sound casual.Tristan's smile was charming, but I detected a hint of mischief behind his eyes. "Well, we met at a bar, and we had a little drink together. So, you can say I'm like his drinking buddy." He joked, his tone light and carefree.I smiled, intrigued by their apparent friendship. "Seems you two have had quite the fun together."Tristan's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Well, you can say that again. From the very first day I met him, I could tell immediately he's a special individual."I nodded in agreement, remembering how mesmerizing Damon was. "Yeah, me too."Tristan's expression turned serious, his gaze piercing. "You know, you're a brave girl, returning to that place again after what almost happened to you there."My eyes w

  • ALPHA'S COLD HEART-A Kiss From Death   Chapter 42

Author's POVDamon settled into a handmade wooden chair in the heart of the camp, nestled within the woods. Crystal, an innocent and lively young girl, busied herself braiding his long hair, a promise he had made to her during his last visit. As she worked, she chattered away, her words filled with a childlike wonder."Uncle Damon, while you were away, I saw Aunty Amelia crying. She looked so sad, but now that you're here, she looks happy again. I think she likes you," Crystal said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.Damon's expression remained calm, but a faint smile played on his lips. "Everyone likes me, or don't you like me?" he teased, his voice low and smooth.Crystal giggled, her hands moving deftly through Damon's hair. "I like you a lot, Uncle Damon. You have long hair, and you let me braid it. But I think Aunty Amelia likes, like you and you two look good together."Damon's smile faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "I don't know about that. She has a boy
