Ketra woke up feeling an arm wrapped around her waist and she didn't need to ask as the heavenly musk of her mate's body hit her nose as though calling her to bury her nose in the crook of his neck and inhale more of the delicious cinnamon that his body had to serve.

She grinned as she huffed even deeper, listening to his slow breathing as he appeared to be in deep slumber. She lifted her head slightly and carefully not wanting to wake him up as he hardly had rested in the past few days.

Her eyes met his sharp pointed nose and she was stunned for a minute by the masculine beauty of his features even in his sleep. If they ever have kids, she wants them to take all of his features and his smartness. Just how beautiful they would be!

But suddenly, she remembered the issue at hand. She wasn't so interested in becoming the Alpha of the Amber moon pack but just as they had discussed with Rain, the people in her pack needed the freedom that Alpha George would never willingly provide to them.
