CHAPTER 91
Alex moved into his large palace room, his robe flowing behind him. Two guards on each side of the room bowed as he walked towards his throne and sat, placing a folded knuckle on his jaw and replaying the incident in his head for the hundredth time.
"I need you to call me Rebal." He gestured towards one of the guards. "Ask her to see me here, now."
"Okay, your highness "
The armoured guard moved away and he exhaled, expecting his loyal soldier to show up. Instead, Drake walked in and for a second he had forgotten he was around.
"Couples problems?" He asked, tapping his staff on the floor as he walked towards one of the chairs on each side of the throne to sit on it.
"Yes. It's..." He couldn't say he had upset Selena as he would have to explain how. "...about me bringing Cher back to Forester."

Alex was holding a glass of vodka while looking outside the long window that could overlook the fields, down to the bridge and the lake. He was in the drawing room, replaying the previous day's incident in his head. The sun hadn't risen when he stood there to think. He was now alone. He had sent Bagdana away, although he couldn't tell when or where or how he left. Now, Selena has gone away and he thought he would be torn apart by loneliness.
