CHAPTER 80
His mind was filled with uncertainty and very heavy by the time he would enter the room. His hair was rumpled and his face looking down. He knew his subjects seeing him like this wouldn't be appropriate and maybe taking a bath would lift his spirit.
"You don't look all right. Is everything okay?" He heard someone whisper behind him and his body quivered at the sound of her voice.
"I'm good." He quickly turned his back but then he felt her arms wrapped around his waist, embracing him tightly.
Why does everything about him have to go downhill? Why is he never able to hold fast to people he so much cares about? Soon enough, Selena would leave him and that would be his fault. That would be on his head.
