Last night scared me. Watching the witches perform their abracadabra with my pregnant mate. I was glad that Frey had decided that it was time to reach out to her family. She needed the answers more than she knew, and I would be here for her through the truth that awaited us outside the pack.

Rounding the territory twice before returning to the pack house to get ready for the day caused a delay in today's run. And guess what I found? What or who?

In wolf form, I sprinted down the narrow path of the still forest that still had a sliver of the morning darkness. I came to a halt when my beast's senses picked up a scent. My crimson eyes rose to meet the orange hue of the rising sunlight. Someone was here. I smelt blood and a wolf’s scent. They weren't hounds, but they didn't belong to the pack either. “Please help us!” I heard through a telepathic communication. This wasn't the mind-link because it was only open to wolves of the pack. I could tell if a wolf belonged to my pack or not
