Being locked inside the room seemed to be worse than being in a cell. I was restless, and I kept pacing around the room. I wanted to go outside, check on the members of the Grenshaw pack, see who was still alive and who wasn’t, join them to mourn the dead members of the pack, then see if I can find a weakness in Gavrael’s tight security. Another thing that worried me is the mate bond I shared with Gavrael that was strong enough to let him hear my thoughts.
