I walked into the hospital and approached the receptionist's desk. As I spoke with the nurse, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The sterile white walls, the smell of antiseptic, and the hushed whispers of doctors and nurses all made me feel out of place.

After the nurse instructed me to wait, I sat down in the waiting room. As I looked around, I felt like someone was watching me. I turned my head, but no one was there. I shrugged it off and tried to relax, but the feeling persisted.
