Dorian Grimaldi

After parking my car in the garage, I reminisced about the passionate kiss I had shared with Eden. I couldn't forget the sensation of her soft, alluring lips, and the way she had run her slender fingers through my hair, almost making me lose control in the car. Frustrated, I let out a groan and hit the steering wheel, regretting the missed opportunity caused by her sister's interruption. If it weren't for that, we might have ended up in the back seat of my car.

I couldn't stop replaying the moment in my head, wondering what could have happened if we weren't interrupted. Eden was unlike anyone I had ever met, and the chemistry between us was undeniable. Every time I saw her, my heart skipped a beat, and my mind raced with the desire to feel her lips on mine again.

As I sat in the car, lost in my thoughts, I couldn't help but feel a sense of longing and frustration. I wanted to be with her again, to feel her touch and taste, but I didn't know when that would happen. All

Eden Monroe. My sister's and I were on our way to school, and as usual, Bree was our driver. I was grateful for their help with Charles and Grace, and relieved that they didn't suspect anything."Uhm, how did you do it? How was it possible they were not able to find out?" I asked, wanting to know how they did it.Bree, didn't respond to my question. She was focused on the road ahead, navigating the twists and turns with ease. I wondered how she managed to keep Charles and Grace occupied without giving away my absence.Anastasia, who was sitting next to her in the front seat, also remained silent. She was busy scrolling through her phone, not bothering to look up or acknowledge my question. Her nonchalant behavior irritated me. I wanted answers, but it seemed like nobody was willing to provide them.I was really frustrated, "Are you guys mad at me or something? Talk to me, if I did something wrong… tell me, I hate the silence." I said again, but still no response. After a

Eden Monroe. On a hot, sunny day, while rushing to attend a class, I came across my best friend Carla. I was surprised to see her wearing a large hoodie that obscured her face, as this was not her typical style. I approached her and called out her name. As she looked up at me, I noticed that she was smoking."What in the world are you doing? I can't believe you're smoking on school grounds, Carla!" I exclaimed.Carla took a puff from her cigarette and blew out a stream of smoke before responding to me, "I know, I'm sorry. I'm just going through a lot right now and I needed something to help me cope.""But that's not a solution at all, you know you could talk to me and I am there to listen." I said to her,She groaned and rolled her red eyes at me, "Eden, stop being a bitch and just shut up." She said to me, I was appalled by her words but at the same time, I wasn't so surprised. It was the drugs messing with her head and she does stupid things. "I'm sorry I said that— it's just so.

  • ALPHA DORIAN   ~15 VIGILANCE AND SACRIFICE

Dorian Grimaldi. Gustavo and I both shared a look with one another, both of us wondering how Eden's friend, Carla, was involved with a vamp guy. We were standing in the forest, watching silently. "You know. . ." Gustav said after a moment, turning his gaze to the two individuals, Carla and the vamp guy who was sucking on her blood, "I think he hypnotized her.""Do you really think so?" I inquired, observing Carla's pleasure-filled groans."Absolutely," Gustavo replied, his eyes fixed on the pair. "Look at the way she's responding to him. It's not natural."I couldn't argue with his assessment. As I watched the scene in front of me, Carla seemed completely entranced by the vampire's presence, lost in a world of pleasure and desire. As we watched on, I realized that we needed to act fast before it was too late. I didn't care if her friend died, but Eden won't be happy if she finds out that we watched her friend being sucked to death by a vampire, not like she would ever know."How di

Eden Monroe. Looking around my room, I noticed the clock on my bedside table. Its digital numbers glowed in the semi-darkness, announcing that it was already past 8 am. A weekend, at last, but I still needed to get ready for the day. I yawned and stretched, feeling the stiffness in my muscles from sleeping in an awkward position. As I shuffled towards my window, I was greeted by a dazzling sunbeam that made me squint. The world outside was painted in bright colors, with the sky an endless blue and the trees' leaves a vibrant green. However, something felt off, and I couldn't quite put my finger on it. A sense of unease settled in my stomach, making me hesitate before opening the window.I took a deep breath and leaned against the window frame, trying to shake off the feeling. Maybe I was just nervous about meeting my friends later or worried about a test I had next week. Or maybe it was nothing at all, just a fleeting thought that would soon pass. Either way, I needed to focus on the

I hesitated before answering not sure I was ready to face the outside world just yet, but when I saw Carla's name flashing on the screen— I knew I had to answer,"Hello?" I said, my voice shaking. "Hey, Eden— it's me Carla. . . I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing." She said, in her usual upbeat tone. My heart dropped. It couldn't be possible— I saw Carla's lifeless body hours ago. I felt like I was going insane. Was this a sick joke?"Carla, how. . . How are you calling me?" I stammered, tears starting to stream down my face. "What do you mean? I'm just calling to check in on my bestie. Is everything okay?" Carla said, sounding confused. I was shaking now, unable to comprehend what was happening, "Carla, you. . . You passed away. You're gone." I managed to say. Eden Monroe. I woke up early in the morning and rubbed my bleary eyes. It's been a sad week and I couldn't remember the last time I had slept properly. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Carla's face, pale and lifeless. I shook my head, trying to clear my mind of the image that seemed to plague my life. I got dressed in a hurry, not bothering with makeup or fussing over my hair. I had one destination in mind: the morgue. I had to see Carla's body for myself, to make sure it was real, to say goodbye properly and also to find out reasons. I got into my sister's car, hands shaking slightly as I turned the ignition. The drive to the morgue was a blur, with me lost in my thoughts. I couldn't believe Carla was gone. We had been friends since kindergarten, and now she is dead. Murdered, no less.I wondered who could have done something like that to my friend. Carla was the kindest person I knew. She never hurt anyone, never got into trouble. And yet someone had killed her, left her body t
