I watched as a sweet chuckle escaped her lips while her head seemed to wiggle in amusement. "How could you forget that the moon goddess pairs wolves together as mates? We make mistakes sometimes and pair you with the wrong one but when you get the one who accepts you!" She said with a sigh.

"You and your mate get to stay together till eternity while you make each other happy. If you can choose your mate as the moon goddess, how do you expect other mates to act?" She asked.

Malika's laughter and her explanation started to piece everything together. It was becoming clear that the moon goddess's pairing of mates was not always perfect, and sometimes there were mistakes. But when the right pair came together, it was a bond that lasted for eternity.
