"How is that possible Scott? I saw him get stabbed multiple times!" Eden said her expression that of confusion.

"I was taken aback when I saw him. I had asked about you and he had told me what happened. He seemed to be looking for me, he has no idea that you have passed through the face of rebirth!" Scott explained.

Eden's eyes held both astonishment and disbelief as she processed the information Scott had just shared with her. The revelation that her father was alive, despite the memories she held of his apparent death, seemed almost too surreal to comprehend.

"But... I saw it happen. I saw him fall, I saw the blood..." Her voice trembled with a blend of confusion and a glimmer of hope that she was afraid to fully embrace.

"I can't explain all the details, Eden. There are many things we don't understand about the world we're in, especially when it comes to giving a second chance to live. But what's important is that he's here now, and he's safe."
