CHAPTER 111

THIRD PERSON POV

Fiona sat at the kitchen table, cradling a steaming cup of tea in her hands. The argument with Scott had left her feeling emotionally drained, but she was trying her best to gather herself. She knew he didn't mean to hurt her intentionally, but the words had cut deep, nonetheless.

As she sipped her tea, lost in her thoughts, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Glancing up, she saw Scott walking into the kitchen. His demeanor was noticeably somber, and Fiona could see the regret in his eyes.

He hesitated for a moment before pulling out a chair and sitting down across from her. The silence between them was heavy, filled with unspoken emotions and unresolved tension.

"Fiona, I___i didn't," he was going to say but she was quick to halt his words.

"Fiona, I... I didn't mean to hurt you," Scott finally managed to say, his voice filled with sincerity.

She held up a hand, stopping him mid-sentence. "Scott, I know you didn't mean to hurt me intentionally," she said
