Detention Clinic

A few hours after Chris visited the detention clinic, Elena began to open her eyes. Felix, the doctor who was assigned to stay by her side, immediately checked on her.

"Doctor, why did you save me?" Elena with her guttural voice, sounding weak asked.

Felix looked confused and furrowed his brow slightly. "Isn't it my duty and obligation to save the prisoners from their illnesses?"

"But I'm going to be executed soon. So why would you make me well, if I'm going to die in a few days anyway?"

Felix was silent for a few moments, before continuing to check on Elena's condition without answering her question. "It's done. Your condition is much better than before, Miss. Now, I will report to Alpha Chris first."
