Chapter Forty Eight

HELENA'S POV

After I shoved the envelope on his chest I went upstairs. I already knew what he wanted to say and I didn't have the time for that. I was disappointed at him and if no one would believe me he would have at least had a little trust for me. I walked majestically to my room and sat on the bed. I brought out my phone from my bag and dialed Gabriel's number. It wasn't even up to a second the phone started ringing he picked up. I wanted to tell him I was home and also to be sure if he was okay and home too.

" You good?"

"Yes I am. I'm home actually, I called to say that". I told him over the phone.

"I'm just a few miles away from home. Thanks for checking though Gabriel said. We had nothing much to talk about since we had just spent the entire day together.
