ALEXANDER'S POV Six o’clock in the morning and the town is already astir. Newspaper vendors with loads of paper on their motorcycles make their rounds. Sometimes they can hardly be seen because the newspapers cover their headlights. They take some risks riding around like this, but I suppose they are used to it.I decided to accompany my wife to the lake just a few meters away from the mansion. It was the Lake Gardens Park. ALEXANDER'S POVWe got home after a few minutes' drive. I had to quickly hurry up so I could stop by my mother's house before driving to the office. The traffic is usually heavy at 8 am as everyone is rushing to beat the time. I dressed myself in one of my favorite gray suits and came downstairs. Helena was sitting beautifully in a fashionable blue strapped dress. The dress rested halfway below her knees exposing those thick straight legs. She had the look of a pregnant princess. ALEXANDER'S POVWhen I got to my mother's place I had expected the worst to happen as usual. But to my greatest surprise, everything was normal even with my mom. I was ready to defend myself and my wife Helena if anything. I hurriedly got out of the car the moment my driver opened the door for me. I unbuttoned my suit and headed straight for the main door leading to her mansion, which was one of my dad's favorite glass houses located in the heart of the town. ALEXANDER'S POVI was standing staring out of the long plate-glass window of my twelve-story office when the intercom on the desk behind me emitted a low buzz. Signing, I turned away from the view of the rain-wet Carolina streets and strode across the wide expanse of dark blue broadloom to depress the button that connected me with my assistant next door. "Yes, James?" "What is it this time? " I asked shortly. Not welcoming the I corruption James cleared his throat before replying. "There's a woman out here saying she wants to see you", he said momentarily stunning me into deep silence. 'I told her you were busy but she insists that she will see you". He paused. "Will you? ". "James don't be an idiot, you didn't ask her name and you dare to call me? ". I tried to sound harsh enough. There are boundaries between work and play time so everyone working under me must know that. During work time I do not entertain jokes. "it's that what I pay you to do behind that desk? ".

Things had been going on so well before this crisis began to happen simultaneously as they had been planned for centuries. HELENA'S POV There's a simple saying that says "Life imitates art".And yes my life would have been simple and calm if I had not agreed to my father's plea of getting into a contract marriage with Alex. It was no longer news and as a matter of fact, I have learned to be even smarter than I had been. My appointment with the doctor had been rescheduled for noon. I hurriedly got into the shower and took a warm bath. I sank into it for a few minutes before applying my Dove shower gel to my skin. My entire body felt bloated and heavy. ALEXANDER'S POVWe drove past a lot of markets, bazaars, and shopping complexes at the normal hour of the day. It would take a person even on a two-wheeler at least 20 minutes or even more to drive past these areas. The traffic was beginning to form for the day. At 7:30 a.m. there is a quietness prevailing in the entire area. Two or more street dogs can be seen near the garbage heaps looking for crumbs thrown by the people the night before. One or two auto rickshaw auto rickshaws flying on the road. It seems people traveling by rail or bus have moved out early from their houses to catch their transport well in time. Near a crossing, we were lucky to escape colliding with a car moving at breakneck speed. I was sitting at the back of my car as usual. Suddenly the driver screeched behind us.
