Chapter 62Damian was having a boring day at work there was nothing to do and everything was running smoothly. He had successfully revitalized the businesses he bought from Jackson and Torres and he placed them under the position of management but he kept an eagle eye on them in case they decided to start stealing funds.Adam suddenly knocked on the door and walked in briskly. Chapter 64Lilian was a bit frightened but Damian stood his ground. The hooligans–five of them–stopped what they were doing and walked menacingly towards them. Chapter 65He groaned and palmed his face. How could he be so forgetful? Well there was nothing he could do about it now he was in the hospital and he doubted he would have any time after that day. Chapter 67The week moved by fast. Soon it was a new week and the week of the party. Everyone was busy. Damian spent the entire week resting and working from home. He didn't want to be seen with a sling again at work. His arm did get better as he rested and soon he could put on his own clothes without Lilian's help. He still kept it in the sling for support though. Lilian had been a massive aid to him while his arm was temporarily out of commission.It was Thursday and the party was in two days. Chapter 68Damian was alone. As soon as Lilian closed the door behind her, he looked up from his laptop. He sighed and relaxed into his chair. He was hurt; something that he had never felt before. When he saw Lilian and Sean kissing so passionately he felt a stab in the chest. Initially, it felt like a game between him and Sean and he was amused seeing him try his luck to get Lilian's attention and now that he had gotten it, Damian felt like a loser. He closed his laptop and paced around his room with his arm in the sling. He was getting better now and could even manage quite well without the sling.
