Lilian was up early the next day, not because she wanted to or because she had to, but because she couldn't sleep a wink last night. Her head was swimming with thoughts. She had a shower and got dressed. The uniform was certainly not her style. It looked like the maid outfits in some anime she had seen. She's was a little bit short and revealing quite a lot of her boobs. She was so uncomfortable. She walked out of her room and met another maid on her way to wake her up.
"Ahh, your awake. Go downstairs and take some coffee to Mr. Richards. He also wishes to see you."
This was Lilian's nightmare. She reluctantly went downstairs and got coffee. On her way, she admired the grandeur of the mansion. Everything was placed perfectly. There were so many things to steal here. She took the coffee upstairs and made her way to Damian's room. She entered and saw him in his trousers only.
"Have you heard of this thing called knocking," he asked angrily.
"Have you heard of this thing called locks," she retorted. She might be his maid but she wasn't going to take any of his sass. She was in a bad enough mood already.
Damian walked towards her and looked her in the eyes. She simply stared back, matching his intensity.
"You don't want to be messing around with me Miss Mendez."
"Likewise me Mr. Richards. Now where the fuck do I drop your coffee."
Damian was impressed by her boldness. She interested him.
"You know what? You could just hold on to it. I need to change these trousers. I don't think I want to wear them anymore."
Damian proceeded to take them off and soon he was stark naked in front of Lilian. She was expecting he was wearing boxers underneath so she wasn't concerned but seeing as he had been wearing none, made her feel uncomfortable. She felt her cheeks get hot with embarrassment. She tried her best to keep her line of sight perfectly horizontal. But her quick eye caught sight of his cock. It was big. Every lady's dream. She tried not to stare at it and keep her thoughts clean. But it was really hard to focus with a naked Adonis in front of her. Damian relished her discomfort. She was trying so hard to keep a straight face. We walked up slowly toward her. She felt her insides churn. Soon he was barely inches away from her. She began to feel hot and dizzy. She didn't like this feeling at all. She thought she felt his dick rub up against her, her breast was mere centimeters away from lightly stroking him. This was too much. Damian saw she was embarrassed and decided to stop his teasing. He took the coffee from her and downed it in one gulp.
"You may leave now."
Lilian didn't wait for a second longer and made a beeline to the door. Once she had gotten far away enough she stopped and tried to catch her breath. She was sweating and hot and all she did was stand there holding a cup of coffee. She was such an idiot. Why the hell had she lost her composure in front of him? It's not like he is the first guy she had seen naked. She felt really silly and went downstairs to find something else to preoccupy her. She was going to spend the rest of the day mentally scolding herself for losing form in front of him. She was better than that.
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Damian had gone to work and she was left cleaning, dusting sweeping and making beds. She hated all of this. She wanted this nightmare to be over. Finally she had her lunch break. The food was delicious. Better than anything she had ever tasted before. More chores were done, then evening came. Damian came back and ordered one of the maids to tell Lilian to bring his dinner to his room. Lilian would do anything to avoid seeing him but she had no choice. She took his dinner up to his room, knocked this time and waited for a reply before she entered.
"I see you have finally learned the concept of knocking. See, that wasn't very hard."
Lilian said nothing. Not that she was short of words but she decided to approach cautiously.
"Keep it on the table over there," the said while drinking his champagne.
Lilian dropped it quietly on the table and turned to leave.
"Your tongue-tied this evening. Did you see a ghost?," said Damian mockingly.
Lilian stood quietly at the door, her back turned to him. She hesitated and to Damian's surprise, she gave him the "middle finger" and walked out.
"She has some nerve," thought Damian to himself. He ate his dinner quietly and soon another made came in to pick up the empty plate.
Work was the usual. Nothing to report. He stood at his balcony sipping his wine. Nothing really stressed him out. Not work and definitely not a stubborn maid. He would let Lilian spread her wings. Sooner or later, he would clip them. He was in no rush.

Lilian walked to her room. She was absolutely exhausted. Exhausted from work, exhausted from being there and especially exhausted from putting up with that proud pathetic peacock. She needed some well deserved rest. She flopped on the bed and shut her eyes. They were soo heavy. Her breath was steady and calm but her thoughts were unresting. Every now and then, thoughts about seeing Damian naked the other day, flashed across her mind. Why had she lost her form infront of him? He was good looking;she wasn't going to lie about that. But there was just something about him that she just couldn't get her finger on. As her thoughts continued to whirl, she heard a faint knock at the door.
"Who is it?," she said without getting up from the bed.
"It's me," was the response she heard. She could just make out the voice of one of the maids she had worked with that day.
"I just wanted to let you know that dinner is ready," she said from behind the door. Lilian didn't reply. She had been quite sour to all of them, so instinctively, they stayed out of her way as much as possible. It wasn't their fault that she was there but seeing them reminded her that she was now a slave, held against her own genuine will but by a contract she had signed.
She continued to lie on the bed. Soon her stomach grumbled. She was hungry and thoughts about her delicious lunch was more than enough incentive to get her up and make her go down for dinner. She walked down the stairs wearily. Every where was quiet and empty. The maids always left last. She found her dinner left out on the table. There were no other plates. Seemed they had all eaten and gone home. She sat alone at the table and ate in silence. She noticed there was a small covered dish next to her plate. And a note next to it. She had barely noticed them in her tiredness.
"In case you would like some more," it read. She looked at her plate and she was nearly done with her food but she was still very hungry. She quickly emptied her plate and took the one in the second dish. She was famished and the fresh smell of the food revived her hunger. While she ate, she heard some foot steps coming in her direction. She wasn't bothered to look. It was probably a maid going home late. Soon she heard a voice.
"Having a late dinner I see." It was Damian. He was bored and had come down for a late night stroll. Lilian ignored him.
"You know", he continued, "for a thief, you eat quite lady-like." Lilian continued to eat in silence. She wasn't going to let him spoil her meal.
Damian noticed that he wasn't having any effect on her . He walked up to her and put his hands down hard on the table. Lilian looked up, unimpressed.
"I don't like being ignored," he said in his dangerously smooth voice.
Lilian stared hard at him.
"If you don't like being ignored, then don't talk to people who don't want to listen to you." She continued eating her food in silence.
Damian was really losing his patience. He grabbed her roughly by the face and forced her to look up at him.
"I hate being spoken back to," he said under his breath.
"And I hate being spoken to." She pulled her face away and gave him a death stare. Damian was unmoved. He stared back and then walked away. Forget about his earlier thoughts of letting her spread her wings, it was time to clip them.
Lilian sat back down. She had lost interest in her meal and was full anyway. Damian was an ass-hole and she was going to give him a very hard time.
Lilian started work early. The past few days she had gotten more in tune with her work. She was however burdened with the horrifying task of taking coffee up to Damian every morning and also waiting for him to finish it up and bring the tray back downstairs. Most days were uneventful and he drank his cup in silence and some days he just felt like throwing remarks her way. All of which she ignored of course. As she took his cup to his room, she bumped into Adam on the way. He was a hand's looking man but always had a worried face. Seemed Damian gave him a tough time as well. She could certainly relate to that. She knocked on Damon's door and entered the room. Damian was already dressed in a blue long-sleeve shirt and black trousers. He says cross-legged on the big armchair near the bed. "To you long enough", he said in annoyance. She ignored him and set the tray down on the table in front of him. He drank his coffee and looked at her. She was beautiful. Long sleek black hair, a prett
Lunch break soon came. Lilian was exhausted and hungry. She went to Damian's office to see if he had anything else for her to do. Damian was sitting at his desk, going through some documents. He didn't even care to look up when she came in."Is there...""Sir."Lilian was confused."Excuse me?" Damian closed the file and looked up at her."In my office, we address males as Sir."Lilian looked at Damian. He was kidding himself if he ever thought she was going to call him that, ever. She rolled her eyes and exhaled deeply."Well is there anything else you need me to do?""Yes."Damian got up and walked to where she was. She simply looked at him and followed his every move. Soon he was right in front of her. He looked deep into her eyes. She had beautiful, deep blue eyes that could stare into your soul. He then proceeded to circle her as he talked."You know, there is a lot I want from you."He was now behind her. He pulled her hair back to reveal her neck. He gently touched it and felt
Lilian went down for dinner. As usual, all the maids had gone home. She walked quietly to the dining table but as she approached, she could make out the shadow of a figure just round the final corner. Maybe a maid was still around working or the chef was leaving her plate out for her? She entered and saw Damian seated calmly. Why was the world trying to punish her? Hadn't she seen enough of him for one day? She hesitated before she took her seat. Damian had a plate of food in front of him. Was he going to eat with her? Why?"Nice of you to finally join me," he said expressionlessly. "Seems you like to eat alone."Lilian didn't say anything. She was really tired. Even though she had been thinking about him a few minutes ago, nature always had its way. She didn't need this right now. What she needed was a good meal and sleep. If she was following him to work tomorrow, then she needed it.Lilian took her cutlery and began to eat wordlessly. Damian watched her and after a few minutes, he
Lilian had gone thirteen chapters when she heard the main gate open. Seemed Damian was home. She walked to her window and saw him get out of the car and walk towards the house. She stared for a while then went back to her bed. She continued to read and listened carefully for any voices or summons from one of the maids to go and see Damian. Soon enough, she heard a knock on her door then someone opened it and came in. It was Damian. What were we doing there?Lilian looked up from her book and stared at him in confusion. He just stood there looking at her wordlessly. Lilian shrugged him off and kept reading. Maybe he got lost and forgot where his room was."You know, my maids greet me when I come in" Damian finally said."Well, that's good for you," Lilian said without looking up from her book. She took a cookie from the bowl that was beside her. She got peckish earlier and went down for a snack and brought the bowl of cookies upstairs with her.Damian continued to stare at her while sh
Lilian soon was able to climb onto her bed. Her legs were slightly numb but at least she could move them a bit. She collapsed onto her bed with a groan of satisfaction and tiredness. Damian was wild and she loved it. The poor maid had to witness the whole thing and fainted. Now she was going to get fired but Lilian had a feeling that she would have quit on her own, either way. The room was cool and the evening was quiet. Her body regained its composure slowly. Soon enough, she was almost back to her normal self. Her tummy rumbled. A pounding like that deserved some proper food. She had only had breakfast and cookies all day. She was going to consider lunch but then Damian come home and well... plans changed. No one came to call her for dinner since Damian left. She got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up. She smelled strongly of him. His cologne had a heavy scent and it stuck to her. As she washed up, she slid her fingers across the sensitive spots on her waist and back. She fe
Tuesday was busy for Damian. This meeting was really important to him. If had never taken anything seriously in his life, this was certainly an exception. He was having an important meeting with his rivals and had to make a good impression. He had been topping them for years now so he had to show that it was not all just dumb luck.As he dressed, he wondered if he should still take Lilian along. That lady was trouble but it was not like she was going to do anything important. She was the hottest thing he had amongst his staff. She was just going to stand there and be the 'attractive assistant that caught everyone's attentionHe looked at the dress he had brought out her for the occasion. It was red and sleek. With a neckline that was a bit wide so that her full cleavage could be seen. He wanted to make sure that everyone else slobbered over her like the dogs they were. He had bought himself a new suit to match as well. It was ironic that assistants matched their bosses. He asked one
Damian waited for the suit. He gripped angrily at his desk. The cleaner tried her best not to meet his angry gaze. She was quick yet thorough. The faster she cleaned the better it would be for her. Soon she was done and she took her leave. No sooner had she left, than the driver came in with a new suit. It wasn't as grand as the one he had but considering the large crimson stain he had running down his shirt, the new suit was way better. He went to the bathroom and got changed. He didn't plan today like this at all. As he attended to his injury, he remembered the snickering faces of his rivals when they saw him. It angered him and the sting of the methylated spirit on his cheek intensified it."This is all Lilian's fault. She did it on purpose," he thought. He cleaned up properly and headed towards the conference room. He was fifteen minutes behind schedule. As he walked in, the room was silent. He could hear slight snickers and could feel their mocking looks all over him. He took his
The morning was early. It was Wednesday. Lilian had slept in again. She knew the maids let her sleep on purpose. They definitely didn't want to get in her way. Not with the mood that she was in. As her eyes fluttered open she could hear the Chrysler leave the compound. Damian had gone to work. "Good riddance!" Lilian thought. The planet had enough assholes already. She was going to sleep in. She however got up and looked at her face in the mirror. The bruises had mostly healed, but the outlines were still very visible. She sighed and was about to head back to bed and soon heard a light knock on the door."Miss Mendez..."Lilian flung the door open and terribly startled the poor maid. She was lucky the door opened the opposite way, else she would have had a terrible concussion."Morning," Lilian said emotionlessly."Morning Miss Mendez. Mr. Richards asked that this be given to you."She handed her some folded clothes. She took them and gave a hasty thanks and shut the door. She really
Chapter 121Every day was filled with fear for Lilian as she waited for her week in the hospital to come to an end. Finally, it did come and she was filled with more fear than ever. Damian hadn't come to see her again and she asked Dr. Gray to take her home.Noon came and Dr. Gray signed her discharge papers and he took her to his car. She was weak but she managed to walk on her own. She got into the passenger's seat and Dr. Gray was at the wheel."Are you ready?" he asked her."No."Dr. Gray exhaled."Damian really has changed. For the better you know. He has been coming to therapy with me.""Can we just go?"Dr. Gray revved the engine and soon, they were on the road. Each mile they covered filled her with anxiety. She was nervous and unsure of her decision. They soon got to his place and the guards opened up. Gray drove into the compound and they were very surprised to see her. They had thought she died. They walked to the door but before they could knock, Damian opened the door. He
Chapter 120It was rolling into the third week and Damian went to see Lilian every day after work and then he would have therapy sessions with Dr. Gray. Rosé saw him constantly at the hospital and soon, they were able to smooth things over. The business was rising steadily and they had managed to secure the number two spot. Adam was really putting in a whole lot of effort and if he hadn't been on the ground, Damian would have been dirt broke.Every day, he felt his heart plummet. Lilian hadn't woken up yet. Damian was at work and was in a very important meeting. He had managed to get his investors back and was in a presentation, made by Adam about how they could increase company profits. The reactions were positive and there were a lot of nods. Things were actually going very well.Damian listened to Adam as he spoke and was very impressed with him. His phone soon rang and interrupted the meeting. All eyes were on him."I am so sorry. "He pulled out his phone and saw that it was Dr.
Chapter 119For an entire week, Damian couldn't go to work. he was home, a drunken mess. Adam was calling every day but he paid him no attention. He just wanted to be left alone. He had gone to the hospital every day of the week but he was never let in. Dr. Gray had told the security personnel to turn him out if they saw him. He feared the worst for Lilian. He didn't know how she was doing, whether she was dead or alive. He sat at his wine cabinet and took another swing of liquor. He e was dead drunk. He still hadn't found his briefcase and had questioned all the maids about it but none of them knew where it was. He was miserable. He took another swing and fell to the floor. His senses were all muddled. Everything in the room began to spin. Every now and then he would see a figure that looked like Lilian but when he rubbed his eyes, it was a coat or chair. Sometimes he would see Antonio but the smile on his face was a frown that intensified his guilt. Camilla had called a couple of
Chapter 118Lilian was in her room sobbing into her pillow. Her head ached and her body was weak. Suddenly, the door busted open and she saw a furious Damian at the door glaring at her. He looked around her room, throwing her things to the floor and pulling her drawers wide open."Where is it?!"Lilian was confused. Where was what? Damia looked at her and she was ill. Her eyes were only glistening with tears but he didn't care. He walked up to her and grabbed her long black locks and yoinked her out of bed. Lilian felt her scalp in terrible pain. She was dragged to Damian's room and he threw her roughly on the floor. She hit her face on the polished tiles and her lips began to bleed."Where is it?! Where the fuck is my briefcase?! You were the only one that saw me open it you keep it in my wardrobe. You are the only one that knows what is inside it!"Lilian began to cry. She had no idea where it was. She hadn't taken it."I don't know," she said amidst tears and sobs."Domain grabbed
Chapter 117The weekend was short. Sunday was busy for him and so was Monday. Tuesday rolled in and Damian was getting ready for work. He hadn't seen Lilian all weekend. She stayed clear of him and out of his sight. She only came out when she was sure that he had gone out or in the middle of the night to get something to eat when she was sure that he was asleep. He wasn't bothered, as long as she wasn't in his way, he was fine with it. His meals were made by his maids and they honestly did a good job though none of them were official chefs. He had put his search for a new chef on hold. It seemed he had bad luck with them. They were either crushing on his women or dying for some reason.Rosé was still mad at him for whatever reason and she was still giving him her sour attitude. He had released their pay cheques and was in his office enjoying a game of solitaire.Adam texted him. He was really grateful for the little increase in his already massive pay. He smiled at the message and co
Chapter 116Camilla and Damian were at it till late in the evening. Camilla was terribly worn out and Damian lay beside her equally breathless. She turned to him but he gave her no attention."So, what changed your mind? I thought that you were intoxicated with your sweetheart"Daman continued to stare at the ceiling."You can leave now."Camilla wasn't offended in the least. She knew Damian quite well and that this was how he worked but it was good enough for her. She had had wild nights with Sean but this night had to top all of them by the largest margin. She got up from bed and picked up her clothes and got dressed. Damian watched her and the entire time, she had a smirk on her face. Soon she was dressed and she picked up her handbag."I had a spectacular time Mr. Richards. I hope we can do this again."She winked at him and left his room. Damian took a deep breath and ran his hand through his ravaged hair. He looked at the clock and saw that it was quite late. He had asked his dr
Chapter 115Lilian was home alone and she was looking through his cookbook. She had asked the maids not to bother about breakfast for her and soon they left after the chores for the day were done. She wanted to make breakfast for herself using Antonio's cookbook. She saw a recipe for waffles and she was instantly down to try. She found some waffle mix and the waffle maker and set to work. She enjoyed herself while she was making the meals. She felt like the book was her only connection to Antonio. Whenever she used it, she could hear his voice gently guiding her to his thick italian accent. She wondered if Anna felt that way when she was at home.Soon, she was done but it was missing the berries. She wondered if the berries in the garden were ripe. She took a little basket with her and headed out the front door. She saw Dean and Dylan having an arm wrestling match. They stopped as soon as they saw her. Dean looked away a bit and Dylan noticed and stifled a laugh."Wher are you off to
Chapter 114Damian came home late and he found Lilian in the living room with the television on enjoying a bowl of pasta. He could smell the food and it smelled just the way that Antonio used to make it."How did you get that?"Lilian was started by his presence. She didn't know that he was home. She didn't even hear the car drive in."Anna came by and she brought me Antonio's cookbook. So I followed the recipe and made his famous spaghetti."Lilian was smiling. She hoped that Damian would like to have some. It would probably cheer him up but he simply gruffed and headed upstairs. Lilian was alone. she took a deep breath and continued watching her show. She was uninterested now and she sat there staring at the television and she couldn't hear a thing they were saying. Her phone beeped beside her. She picked it up and saw that it was a message from Rosé "I hope you are okay. I didn't see you at work today."Lilian smiled sadly. Rosé seemed to be the only person that was checking on he
Chapter 113Damian walked in and he seemed very angry. Lilian was nervous and she swallowed hard when she saw him. Rosé saw her fear and held her hand reassuringly.Damian looked from Rosé to Lilian. Rosé stared back at him unafraid. Damian looked at the pair and headed upstairs. Lilian breathed and Rosé looked really nervous and scared for her."Are you sure that you want to stay here? My offer is still open. You can stay with me."Lilian nodded."I'll be fine."Rosé couldn't force her and she stood up and left. Lilian sat at the dinner table unsure of what to do. She was terrified and scared. She finally decided to head back up to her room. As soon as she got upstairs, Damian called her."Come here. Now."She walked to his room and closed the door behind her. Damian was at his wine cabinet, drinking. She stood looking at him."I don't need you at work anymore. You can stay home. The maids will be brought back and you can stay at home. Now leave."Lilian left and didn't look back. Sh
