Meagan was driving back from the hospital with her mother,they always had a great mother daughter relationship but they also had a somewhat weird relationship didn't think of it because they never told us about their past and although she put in the work with regards to getting healed and getting the right help and actually forgiving her father this could be set for her brother and mother who didn't want to talk about the past but they had to acknowledge that the past did exist and that they did go through what they went through she didn't feel guilty for not being there to save them but she of course felt someone responsible for what had happened when she wasn't there.
