I asked within me and before I could realize, those couples came towards our direction holding each other's hand sweetly.

When they arrived our table, the young lady waved at Jenifer, and she did same with a smile.

On living, my still fell on that guy. And he looked at me too in the same manner until they finally left our view.

"New friends?" My mom asked

"Yeah! I met them at Harvord. But not personally. The lady is the leader of the handball team. She called Stephany. While the guy she is with is Raymond. Her boyfriend. They were the ones who won today. While Raymond is a member of the soccer team" Jenifer said with so much confidence and joy.

"You seemed to have known a lot in just a little bit of time spent with them" Her mom said

"Yeah. The friends I met told me the gossip of the school. They have been together for 2yrs now" She said

"Wow! They are good together though" my mom said

"I know right! I also met this guy called Lewis. He is also a member of the Soccer team. He is delightful! We exchanged numbers." She said

"That's smart. I'll wish to meet him some day" her mom said

"Yeah me too" my mom added

"Really! Then that won't be a prob" she said incredibly happy.

They just sat there discussing while I looked through the window watching those couples get into their expensive car. 

They seem wealthy.

Amyla was busy looking at the Raymond and Stephany through the window. When Mr. Laurence got in and walked towards them

Amyla was still busy looking through the window when he came and sat beside her mom.

When she turned her gaze to him, he smiled widely at her.

Her world started turning more upside down as the scene of what this man did to her replayed itself. 

She was almost unable to breath as her breath increased and everything around her turned dark.

Tears filled her eyes instantly. And she formed her hands in a fist.

Her eyes showed pain, anger, hurt. The thoughts of why she was born in the first place came to her strongly.

She could not control her feelings anymore as she rose and rushed out of the restaurant.

On this side, Raymond forgot something back in the restaurant. 

As he was about entering the restaurant with his umbrella on his hand, Amyla came out hurried with tears on her cheeks moving towards the road.

Immediately Raymond realized what she was about doing, he ran towards her letting go of his umbrella and raised her before a car was about knocking her down. 

Due to the force applied, they fell to the ground.

But Raymond was smart enough to know she will fall with her back hard. So, he held her back with her back against his chest making him fall with his back instead, while she fell on his chest.

Yet, he did not let go of her. He wrapped her tight as she cried the more struggling to let go.

"That's ok now. shh," he said trying to calm her down.

"Let Go!" She cried out

"No, I won't" he replied, and she sobbed instead

"That's it.

Shh... shh.." he said softly

Her mum rushed out of the restaurant. Not knowing what almost happened to daughter, she came and met them on the ground in the rain.

Their bodies where already wet. Her mom kneeled beside them.

"Amy." She said and Amyla sobbed the more

"I think she's not in her best self to answer you ma'am" Raymond said still holding her tight.

Her mum just kneeled there frustrated. After a while, Myla calmed down and Raymond turned to his side with her along.

When he let go of her, she was already very calm.

Stephany had waited for long in the car. So, she had to go out. When she did, the view she saw in Infront of her made her mad.

She rushed to them. While Amylas' mum helped her get up to her feet, Raymond rose up and was held by Stephany as she showed a face of concern towards him.

"What happened to you babe?" Stephany asked.

But Raymond did not reply her as he kept looking at Amy with concern.

"Thanks so much dear. I will take her home now" Amylas' mum said and Raymond nodded as he removed his jacket and handed it to her mom.

"Get her covered. She's catching cold" he said, and her mom did as tell then walked away with her towards her car.

Stephany went to get the umbrella that left Raymonds' hand and covered them as Raymond went back in to collect what he left and drove Stephany home.

Amyla stayed back in the car while her mom went inside to tell the others she will have to go with Amyla first. While the others come behind. Since she did not want to ruin their meal.

They accepted, understanding the state Amyla is in as a patient.

After which she joined Amyla in the car and drove her home.

All through the journey, she just kept looking at the window. Without blinking or moving her body. She was frozen.

All what went on in her head was the regret of her failing to die.

But then, she closed her eyes wondering why Raymond saved her. 

It made her feel secure and loved. Just by his touch and how he calmed her down.

She has never experienced such in her life. So, it really is strange to her. Because all she knows and have ever felt is pain, hatred, disappointment from her parents, friends Jenifer, sadness.

But just within moments, she found out that, they are two different worlds. And the other, she is yet to discover.
