As I walked alongside the garden with the members of the Royal family, I couldn't help but feel a sense of boredom creeping up on me. The conversation was about the most mundane things - the weather, upcoming events, and other Creme-de-la-Creme stuff. I tried my best to engage in the conversation, but my mind kept drifting away.

"So, Arayah, what do you think about the upcoming gala?" the Duchess asked me.

"It sounds like it's going to be quite an event," I replied, trying to sound interested.

"Yes, indeed. We've been planning it for months now. It's going to be the talk of the town," the Duke added.

I nodded politely, but my mind was elsewhere. I couldn't help but feel a bit homesick. I missed my family and friends back home. Being in this grand palace and having to deal with all these formalities was beginning to take a toll on me.

As we continued walking, the conversation turned to politics, and I struggled to keep up. I knew that this was important, but I couldn't help feeling out

I began to wonder how she could be so passionate about something so dry."Meredith, how did you become such an expert in politics?" I asked, hoping to steer the conversation in a different direction. She smiled at me. "Oh, I've always been interested in the way things work, even as a teenager. My parents were involved in local politics, so I guess it runs in the family."As she continued to talk, I noticed a shift in her expression. It was as if she was holding something back, and I couldn't help but ask what was wrong."Well, I overheard the council talking about you two days ago," she said, her expression serious. "They were discussing how it was impossible for a human to bring down a wolf in their shifted form."I froze, my heart pounding in my chest. "Do you think they were talking about me?"Meredith sighed
