CHAPTER.57. Ivy to the rescue.

Ivy quickly followed Mrs. Joy, and the next minute, they had smuggled her inside Damian's room. When she entered, she saw him lying on the floor, still arguing with Lucas. But once he saw her, he quickly fixed his gaze on her and didn’t say another word.

With an authoritative tone, she said, “Y’all can go to your rooms now. I'll take it from here until tomorrow morning.”

Lucas and Mrs. Joy exchanged confused glances. Lucas didn’t like the idea of leaving Ivy alone with Damian; sometimes he could become very violent. He declined, “No, Ivy, we can’t leave you inside alone. We will stay right here with you until you’re done!”
