I couldn't fathom what Diego's deal was. Why was he giving me that look?

“He looks quite cold. I barely get to see his face. Jack is quite preferable” Mia in a low voice.

I sharply turned my gaze away from Diego. Didn't know I stared longer than I should. I don't have to make it obvious that I had something going on with him.

“Mr Affleck…” A female voice reverberated through the studio and our gazes fell on Alexis Thompson swaying her hips flirtatiously to Diego's end.

“I accepted the proposal as soon as I realized it was a brand affiliated with the DND's empire.” Alexis said with a smile.

“She is flirting with him…” Mia nudged me.

A heavy sigh crossed my lips, I shouldn't be concerned, it means nothing.

“You look younger and handsome in person. After work, maybe we could have dinner together or I can…..” Alexis's words hung in the air as Diego interrupted sharply.

“No…” He cut her off, his voice dripping with iciness.
