OLIVIA'S POV.

I stood on the side of the road, my mind reeling with disbelief. I had just been fired from my job, and the shock of it was still resonating through every fiber of my being.

As I stood there, lost in thought, I barely noticed the passing cars, their headlights blurring together into a chaotic mess of light and sound.

And then, out of nowhere, a car swerved towards me, narrowly missing me as I stumbled back in shock. My heart was pounding in my chest, and I could feel my breath coming in short, sharp gasps.

For a moment, I was frozen in place, my mind struggling to catch up with the reality of what had just happened. But as the car sped off into the distance, I knew that I needed to pull myself together.

With shaky legs, I stumbled over to a nearby bench and collapsed onto it, my head in my hands. The world around me seemed to be spinning, the sounds of traffic and the smell of exhaust fumes all blending together into an overwhelming cacophony.

As I sat there, trying to g
