I had no idea my dad wanted to see me. He had never requested my presence for anything so him calling me at this very moment to see me was something that I never expected considering how our dinner with each other ended the last time when he brought his mistress to a family event. I told myself that I would not forgive him for what he did because he desecrated my mother's name by bringing a slut to take her place as a family occasion.

I had always thought that one day, he was going to change and that life would be different but as time flew by I knew that that change was far from him. I had come to accept the fact that he will always continue with whatever he was doing and that nothing was ever going to change for as long as he was living and breathing.

Growing up, I have always had a soft spot for Dad. And I knew that I love him way more than I loved mum. In my eyes he could never do wrong and I was seen as his princess because that was how he treated me and made me feel.
