My mind played back to what Mike had said and I couldn't help but wonder if he was actually saying the truth. I mean he does have a point. I've been trying so hard to shield myself from the world because of what had happened between me and Clinton and to top it off, Davion was my boss so I couldn't imagine myself in a relationship with him. I can't do it.

Or am I trying to run away because of what had happened between us before? I know that he was a good man that had constantly proven himself to me but I still can't get over it. I'm scared that this could all be another Clinton disaster waiting to unfold and for the life in me, I wasn't ready for it. Not one bit at all.

"What if you're just exaggerating." I blurted out. "What if the problem is not just me like you presumed. What if it ran deeper than that?"
