Chapter four

Jayden gaze rested on her perfect figure as he gave it a brief estimation. She has a flat tummy and a sculpted figure which is twine-thin. Her waist was tapered and she had a burnished complexion. A pair of arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes. Her delicate ears framed a button nose. A set of dazzling, angel-white teeth. A moon shadow-black hair. Her enticing, constellation-blue eyes gazed at me over her puffy, heart-shaped lips. She saw the look the man was giving her and she became uncomfortable.

"Sit, I am not done with you yet". he said with so much command and Maya sat down." what is your name?". he asked.

"Am sorry sir, we don't--"She got interrupted

" I heard it for the first time, and I don't like repeating myself". he said rudely and Maya was getting pissed off.

"What do you want sir? It looks like I am being interrogated, see, I don't want any trouble, just tell me what you want".

" Why will I want anything from you". he stares all over at her."You are not worth my type and I can't believe you are the one I had that night". he said rudely and Maya was stunned.

"W-what did you just say?" she asked standing up to her feet.

"You heard me, if not that I was under the influence of hard drugs, do you think I will look your way?".he said and tears crawled out of Maya's eyes.

" So, it was you who took advantage of me that night" " She stared hard at him and Jayden threw a blank cheque at her.

"That's a blank cheque, name your price and it is done, is just for what I did to you". he said nonchalantly as he gulped from his drink.

" You b!stard!" Maya yelled angrily at him. "You animal! How could you ruin my life". she sobs.

" How dare you? Do you know who you are talking to?" he questioned.

"I don't care to know who you are, you took advantage of me and you have the nerve to pay me off! what do you think I am, one of your slut?" she voices oft rudely and Jayden was shocked because no one has ever talked back at him before.

"Did you just insult me? How dare you? I could behead you, you know".

" Do your worst, you slimy

b!stard, I am not afraid of you and I will make you pay for what you did to me, I don't freaking care to know who you are, you can keep your disgusting money to yourself". she said angrily at him and rushed out sobbing. Jayden stared after her and grunted angrily.

"That moron! How dare she talk back at me, she will surely pay for this". he said angrily.

Mia was walking along the hallway when she saw Maya rushing to the staff room, she ran after her calling out her name.

" Maya, what's wrong?"She asked as she saw her crying and maya hugged her around her waist and she tried to console her."What happened? Did they hurt you?"

"H-he" she sobs.

"He what?". she asked confusedly. Some minutes later, she was calm and she gave her water." drink this"

"Thank you" " She takes a sip and sniffs.

" What happened?"Mia asked

"I find out about what happened to me that night and the person responsible". she said.

" You did? Who was he?".

"A man and I have never seen him before, he admitted that he was the one and he tried to pay me off". Maya said sadly.

" What? he did that?" Mia questioned angrily.

"Yes, he didn't even apologize for what he did, but he insulted me and treated me like a whore".

" What insolent, how dare he". she stood up angrily and grabbed onto Maya's hand." take me to him". She dragged her out of the room and they were heading to the hallway with so much anger.

Theo and Ryan were surprised at Jayden attitude when he told everything.

"That's rude bro! You Shouldn't have treated her like that". Ryan said.

" He is right, treating someone with respect won't take away your dignity, you should go and apologize to her". Theo said.

"What? Never, Jayden never apologize to anyone". he gloats.

" Drop your pride and--"They got interrupted as someone barged in, they could see anger and bitterness on their faces.

"He did it". Maya said pointing toward Jayden, the three brothers were caught off guard.

" You scumbag, who the hell do you think you are to humiliate her like that, you ruined her life, and you have the gust to pay her off, does she look like one of those slut you pick up from the street". Mia yelled staring angrily at Jayden.

"Who the f**k are you--" he got interrupted.

"Her sister and her best friend! She is too innocent for you to treat her like trash". she yelled at him.

" See we--"Theo tried to calm them down but Mia snapped at him.

"Don't you dare! Is this what you guys do to ruin people's lives, well, this going to be your last, and it won't end well for you three". she warned and Jayden scoffed

" You this brat, you brought your friend to come fight me".

"Yes! You deserve to be dealt with, you scumbag!". Maya yelled and it started to get everyone's attention soon the manager walked in.

" What is going on here? Mr.Jayden, is everything alright?" he asked.

"yes, we are trying to settle -- Ryan got interrupted.

" We are not trying to settle anything, they humiliated Maya". Mia voices out.

"What? Is that what causes this scene? Do you, girls know who you are standing with right now". he said.

" Your Employees insulted me". Jayden said and the manager went stunned.

" You deserve more of that ". Maya said and the Manager shut her up.

" Be quiet". he turns to Jayden." please, I am so sorry for their stupidity, they are just new here, please for my sake, if you want me to get them fired I will do just that right away". he apologized sincerely, Mia and Maya were surprised.

"Fired us? Why will you fire us, we did nothing wrong, we were only fighting for our rights ". Mia said.

" Will you shut it, if you know the people standing before you, you won't open your mouth to talk, they are the Williams and the rightful shareholders of this clubhouse". he said and Mia was surprised except for Maya who still has this i-don't-care attitude and it surprised Jayden and his brother to see she was not moved or surprised by it. "Now, you two back to your quarters, I will deal with you later". he said and Mia pulled Maya out quickly." please I am sorry, they are both new here, I will get them fired at once". he said and turned to leave, Jayden stopped him.

"Don't worry about that, I will deal with them myself". he said and the manager gulped, he knew what he was capable of doing, and he left.

" What are you planning on doing to them?"Ryan questioned Jayden, but he ignored him as he gulped from his drink staring at one spot in anger.

Mia was pestering around the room and Maya was tired of her pestering.

"Will you just keep it down a little, your pestering around is making me wanna throw up ". Maya said.

" Aren't you scared? Do you know we are going to lose our job, the man owns this damn place, and not only that, he is the most dangerous guy you don't dare to cross paths with ".Mia said looking frightened and Maya scoffed.

" And so? I am not afraid of him, he used me and he is going to pay dearly for it ". Maya said nonchalantly and Mia stared surprisingly at her, then the manager barged in and they could see the angry look on his face.

" Please sir, we are so sorry, we didn't --"Mia got interrupted.

"It was my fault, I pushed Mia

into it, if anyone needs to be fired, that should be me". Maya said and Mia stared at her quickly, the manager hesitated for a while and let out a deep sigh.

" I am not firing you, girls, because he asked me not to, but just know the worst is coming your way". he said rudely and walked away.

"Oh no, we are finished!". Mia voiced out and Maya scoffed.

The next morning, Mia and Maya arrived at work, they were surprised to see the manager standing at the door entrance and was staring firmly at them, they wondered and walked up to him.

" Good Morning sir" they greeted and he stared at them for a while and then sighed.

"You two, follow me ". he said and walked away, they followed him behind until they arrived at the garden. The whole place was messy and full of dead leaves and rotten fruits, the smell was unpredictable.

" Sir, why are we here, this place looks awful". Mia said feeling uncomfortable about the smell Same goes with Maya.

"Yes I know that is why I brought you two here because you two are going to clean this whole place up and make it sparkling". he said smiling mischievously.

" What?!" they said surprisedly.

"Yeah, now get to work". he said.

" This is too much for two people, how do you expect us to clean up this whole place". Mia said.

"You should have thought of that, before getting yourself into trouble". he said.

" But we apologize already".Mia said.

"You two carry on now, I am only following the instructions, and you must finish up the whole work today". he said and walked away ignoring their calling.

" That b!stard, he is the one behind this". Maya said angrily.

"I guess this is better than losing our job, let's get to work". Mia said and they started working.
