"How was your day?" I called Raquel.
"Productive. We had several chapters completed and might just need a few more weeks and book one will be completed."
"Book one?"
"Well we decided to make a sequel. It's something Stephanie and I are bouncing ideas on." She replied excitedly. "How is your grandfather?"
"He woke up earlier and the doctor said everything went well. They are closely monitoring him for the next 24 hours."
"That's good news. Are you there by yourself?"
"Yes. I sent Claudette and Theo back to their hotel."
"You were able to convince her? She looked very upset and devastated."
"She is closer to him than I am. I love my grandfather but those two are on a different level. They talk regularly."
"I hope he likes me."
"He will love you." I assured her.
"So you finally decided to show up here in New York after hiding in your precious resort?"
