"Do you have to bring all those school notebooks with you?" Her brother asked for the third time that day as he closed the box and taped it.
"For the last time Haruki, those are references from when I need some information while I work. If you're not going to stop complaining about how heavy my belongings are, you should just sit down and watch while I pack by myself."
Haruki grumbled something about uncute little sisters as he carried the box and put it on top of the growing pile of boxes. More than half of those were her books and they didn't even go through half of her collection. Perhaps she needed to tune things down a little bit.
Even though the third room in the new apartment was filled with shelves, there was a limit to how many books she could take with her since she was going to share them with Jun.
"So, how did the first night go?" Haruki said standing up and looking at her waiting for her answer with undivided attention.

Jun knew Iori was avoiding him as soon as he woke up the next morning. What made him realize that? Well... That would have been the note she left him before she disappeared at the crack of dawn. If he hadn't predicted that it would happen when she locked herself in her room last night... Jun knew that it was a gamble to talk to her about it directly. But, it felt like the right time to tell her. And he just wanted to put her at ease. But, it seems like the only thing he did was make her more tense around him. if the way she acted this morning was any indication. Deciding that she needed her space, Jun went to his own apartment and packed his belongings. It took him about thirty minutes to decide what to take from his wardrobe, while he spent the rest of the morning organizing his shelves and making sure to label the references he was going to need before he neatly put them into boxes. When Jun first started writing, he learned one hard lesson after another wh
"I can't believe that I will get to organize two famous authors' personal notes!" Said an overly excited Kajima as he stood by the door to their spare room in the new apartment admiring the piles of boxes and the rows of empty shelves."Move, you're in the way," Jun said all but kicking the ecstatic young man who didn't seem to have noticed as he looked around him with stars in his eyes.Iori and Kimiko sidestepped the dreamy man and got into the room. Not seeming to register Jun's exasperated glares, Kajima took one of the already open boxes and took a notebook out."This is the reference for one of JUn-sensei's books. even though I'm your editor I never got to see the prep work you did for your book. Your fans are going to be jealous of me when they hear that I got to organize them with you."Iori shuffled behind Jun who wasn't paying attention to his editor's gushing, or rather ignoring it.To think that Kajiima was a fan of Jun's works...
Aika Kurosaki was a tall woman in her early forties. With ever-present red lips and nails, a pricey business suit that should cost a normal worker their whole salary, and a perfectly coifed hair that reeked of elegance and pricey products. In other words, Aika Kurosaki was the epitome of a badass businesswoman, who has got the devious personality to go with it. She strode into the apartment just as Iori was about to have her glass of wine after handing Jun his drink. The sip she took almost went down the wrong way as Kurosaki-san eyed herand the cup in her hands with a cool gaze. “Get me some of that,” she ordered, “And let’s get this meeting started. I had to skip my manicure appointment in order to make time for this, and I’m not in a very good mood.” She said as she put her designer bag on the large dining table and took a seat at the head crossing her legs, pursing her lips, and raising her eyebrows at them as if silently asking why they weren’t tri
"We have a whole lot of six months to marketing your book," Kurosaki-san began sounding all calm and professional, unlike when she was ranting at them just a few moments ago. It seems like Iori's outburst worked a miracle. And gave Jun a show that he wasn't likely to forget anytime soon. This sigh of Iori putting the shark lady into her place left jun in awe. There were times when he was in the receiving end of her dressing him down. But that moment was nothing like that. Theirs were bickering moments that held a little bit of light-heartedness and a great part of fun that neither of them was willing to admit at the time. But Iori now was marking her territory, highlighting hr limits with a bright rs marker that stung on stop on. She wasn't ready nor willing to let Kurosaki or anyone ls trespass on hr limits or if into her private life. She drew the line with the president and that was it for her. No one was allowed to give their two cents about what they tho
"Excuse me?" Iori asked her frown deepening as she asked, "Did you say, dance classes?" Kurosaki-san nodded thumbing through something on her tablet. "Why would we have dance classes together?" Jun asked intrigued but not enough to risk Iori's ire by agreeing with Kurosaki-san "I watched every appearance you had on the screen, and except for when the media surprised you at the restaurants, all of your other appearances don't have any kind of chemistry in them...." Jun winced if by chemistry she was meaning Iori's flashback and how he had to practically haul her into her restaurant and carry her into the private room then she was sorely mistaken. Iori remained still as she watched them her face void of any expression as Kurosaki-san went on. "Let me show you. It will be faster this way," Kurosaki san sad turning her tablet to them and propping it. There was a video playing. A slightly familiar video of the restaurant's ent
"I told you," Iori said calmly " You're going to do it..." Jun stole a glance at his partner who didn't seem impressed at all by what was happening before her. She seemed rather... bored. Jun on the other hand wasn't bored, as he watched the huge training room with all the mirrors that made it look even bigger. Yupp, not a place where he wanted to be... He wanted to say that he couldn't believe that they managed to convince him to come here. but, the truth is that in fact, no one had to convince him to come here. He made that decision all on his own, although not willingly. "shut up...." he murmured under his breath and Iori's lips twitched slightly showing how much she was enjoying this moment at his expense. When Iori had said that he would be going, Jun had thought that she was just trying to bluff her was through talking like that. But as soon as she showed him what she was seeing on the tablet, it didn't take him long to reach the same co
Iori was a wreck. That's how she could describe herself in the middle of the practice room as she watched Kujou-san's extended hand. This was a bad idea. A very very bad idea... She should've never agreed to the dancing lessons. No matter how reasonable Kurosaki-san was, and no matter how clear it was that she and Jun needed to do some damage control if they were going to convince people that they were dating. She still should've refused the lessons. Body contact was still too much for her, and now their dace trainer was extending his hand and expecting her to casually take it and let him lead her around the dance floor. Nope, not a good idea at all... Iori found herself extending her hand to Kujou automatically before it became awkwardly too long. He took her hand gently barely touching and Iori sighed in relief when she didn't start hyperventilating or making a scene. "did you learn classic dance moves before?" Kujou asked her and she nodded
When Iori got out of the examination room, Jun straightened from where he was leaning against the wall and stepped toward her his focus on her bandaged ankle. "What did the doctor say?" He asked quietly and Iori realized that people were watching them closely from the waiting room. Damn this famous phase they have to go through... "Just as Kujou-san said, I will be okay in two days max," She answered smiling at him in an attempt to ease the worry on her features, He smiled back, then leaned forward to pick up her. "Hey! I told you I'm okay!" she exclaimed but Jun still carried her toward a nurse station where a smiling nurse approached them with a rolling chair smiling. Iori was red with embarrassment as people ohed oh-ed and ah-ed at them in awe. This was one of the most humiliating moments in her life. Jun put her on the chair and the nurse started pushing her toward the pharmacy. "While you go get the prescription, I
