The feel of the metallic and heavy object in her palms, the chaos around her, and the shadows of the slowly fading figures blending into the darkening room as the sun slipped further to the other end of the globe. But more importantly, the unmoving figure on the ground with the pool of blood spreading underneath it.

'Ah...That's it, again' she thought ' the moment when I became a monster,'

"Iori," someone said beside her and touched her hand, the hand with the gun. Or wasn't it?

Iori turned to find Rina watching her with concern. That's right, Rina was there with her back then. She was the one who held her gun-laden hands and stood by her side in the midst of it all.

"It's not there anymore," Rina whispered squeezing her hand  that wasn't curled around the cold metallic object that was slowly warming to her touch, as if it was blending with her flesh and becoming part of it....

Iori realized that she wasn't back in that apartment
