Chapter 41: The Devil Himself

Oliver was not able to concentrate in the office, he tried to stop thinking about Nuella but he could not. Even after he found out that it was her grandfather’s men that came to take her, his heart was still not at ease. He stood up and left the office, leaving all the work he had behind.

Ethan saw his boss leaving the office when he was going to summit some important files and inform him about a crucial meeting they had.

“Boss are you leaving the office?”

“Yes”

“But there is a crucial meeting that you need to attend in about an hour”

“Cancel it”

“Huh?” Ethan widened his eyes, his boss would usually not cancel meetings especially the ones that were very important so what was wrong this time around?

“I said cancel it!” Oliver half yelled, he was already stressed out today

Ethan swallowed and bowed his head “Yes boss”

Oliver gave him a cold glance before walking away

Since the argument his boss had with Miss Armstrong, he has been in a terrible mood. He is very sure that he was leaving
